Robbie Library Inventory Robot

Meet Robbie, Temasek Poly Library's first inventory robot.
This innovation is an initiative by the Library to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency, tying in with TP’s Smart Campus Initiative. In addition, having robots in the Library will allow our students and staff to have first-hand encounters with them when they move around the Library performing their tasks. For example, Robbie has a translucent casing to allow users to observe its mechanism up close. We hope that this would encourage the adoption and use of robotics and automation technology amongst TP community.
