PS am I selfish for wanting Ryan to stay underrated and not blow up like he rightfully should? There's just something much better and satisfying listening to a song that you know the car next to you isn't playing. Because if Ryan blew up as he should I would have to find a new favorite artist and completely rethink the soundtrack of my life which has been his music. I guess I can't rethink what already has been the soundtrack to my life but damn I cannot be the only person that would be sick to my stomach if he blew up and became like Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift and everybody was playing his music that shit would suck honestly. This song right here has been my anthem for a month and it has less than 20,000 views and atleast 500 of those are from me. It's mind-blowing how a generational Talent like Ryan could go unnoticed by the masses simply for the benefit of me and a few others. Thanks Ryan keep it up you cannot fathom the deep impact your having on our lives. It's been an honor listening to your music evolve and grow with me.

I think that's called gatekeeping. I can understand it, but I honestly wish for Ryan whatever degree of notoriety he desires! I suppose if an artist is making a decent living without blowing up, they might even prefer avoiding the burden of fame, but I dont think we know enough about Ryan (at least, I dont). But I would hate for him to ever struggle in life only because his fans didnt do their part in helping him grow 😢😢
