Watching Greg’s vids gets me into the mood to grind even on days where’s it’s rough . You get us out there Greg , and so do you . Appreciate your content sir . Cheers
Great time man. Always glad seeing you visit home and catch up with your family. Also, I hope I’m contributing to your watch time averages decently lol. I normally have your vids streaming in the back when I’m about to do something that takes a while.
I spent a lot of time in Old forge when I was younger. I grew up about 40 mins from there. Lots of great hiking and of course the fishing is awesome as well. Not only can you hit all the lakes in that area but pond hopping with a ultralight canoe/kayak is also big up that way.
You motivate me man! My life has become worth living again since I started on a kayak back in the day after coming across your channel. Let's see a oklahoma episode some day!
The Finger Lakes are a gorgeous fishery with clear water! What a nice change after a Clearlake tournament (Toxic Avenger!) The new kayak seemed to be a success - yay! Very 😎 to see you hook a couple of footballs, so envious! Thanks for taking us to NY with you. Enjoy and have a great weekend! 😊
Dude I tell you what. I have been watching for a while now and love all the insight and overall video production. you also are so real and let us get to know you and I appreciate that. And I love the new york videos man, the second that text that said new york i was like oh hell yeah, this video is gonna be crazy. What a beautiful fishery they have up there and such beautiful fish. Thank you for all the great content. Also my 5 year old loves your videos and references you when we go fishing and catch bass.
thank you sir and NY is always such a treat for me and fortunate to be able to come here in the spring. Tell your 5 year old I said whats up and tight lines!
Really enjoy your videos. As a native Upstate NYer, always get a kick out of your annual Homecoming visits. Surprised that you traveled all the way to Old Forge for your new ride. Bought both of my kayaks there - 2017 Old Town Predator MX and inspired by your quest for a smaller boat, bought a Native Watercraft Falcon 11 in 2022. Thanks for sharing your fishing experiences, friends, and being a great inspiration to this 70 yr old!
A beautiful day on the water and really digging that native watercraft kayak in blue. Thanks for sharing your day on the lake can’t wait to see that kayak fully rigged out and put through its first tournament run. The moment I can see a Greg Blanchard video pop up on my feed brings a deep satisfaction to my soul and to watch and experience a day in the life of bass fishing just hits me in a different sort of way and for that I say thank you!!!! Until the next big tournament take care tight lines and God bless!!!
The only thing I could suggest is getting some yak attack tie downs and using synch straps to secure your blackpak down. The pieces that hook into the corners aren't very strong and if you flipped the yak those will break and your crate will go with them. I only know from watching a buddy loose his crate, tackle and rods that were attached
Because of you I’m getting the 10.5 instead of the 12.5 titan x. I realized the 10.5 is more than big enough for me. The passion you have for kayak fishing is crazy, what you went through to go fishing the next day was cool to see and made me realize how much I love doing the same.
Old forge!!! I used to go there every summer fly from Colorado or Arizona and trout and small mouth fish!! I spent a week or two in the summer one of the best places to fish in the world!!!!!
Welcome home G.B. I'm in Rhode Island, so my season just started. I usually go to M.A, and C.T. because there are much bigger lakes to fish. But, up north the fishing is really amazing, this time of year. 💯 🎣 🛶
Welcome back to Building Kayaks with Greg Blanchard . On today's episode, will dive deep into Titans and show you how to make the best kayak for your fishing adventure. Come along with me😅
Back in New York!!! Great start on your new kayak💯👍🏼Looking forward to seeing more adventures while your back home❣️Have an amazing time fishing and with family 😊
Ahhh back in NY. Love it. The 5 lber was a beauty. That water is so clear! You are getting pretty good with all the rigging. I am getting a second kayak so that I can leave one at my Maine vacation site and the TitanX Max is one I'm considering. Just worried about the extra weight. I might have to go demo one somewhere. Really like the looks of that yak. Thanks for sharing.
Greg I’m from Webster live in Cincinnati now. Sure miss fishing the lakes and even the canal. Live 5 mins from there as a kid and would walk the canal trail and fish the hell out of it.
Just discovered your channel today, great videos! Thank you, I have looking at Old town, but I’m like you I want something smaller but as customizable as the big boats. The Titan is awesome😊
This weekend for me was just like when you were fishing that first dock. All those fish and no bites. I found like 4 big schools I could see on the fish finder and not even a nibble lol
Nice looked like a good day out it’s always well worth spending that extra time getting ready. Seems like bass in California are longer those fish are short but thick & definitely very healthy.
hey greg, a small drop shot like lure that is a mayfly, is very good to kill the skunk. it gets blue gill small bass will smack it and big bass will snack on it. just good to get your feet on your ground and work your way up and feel out the fish on what they are feeling like doing, a chase, or an easy meal.
Nice Greg! Making me wanna get that TX 10.5. Have a boat but no yack yet. My brother has been yackin’ a while and I see the advantage of where yacks can go and ease of transport especially in traffic and over long distance. Hmmm 🤔 Probably gonna pull the trigger this year - lol 😝 Thanks for all the vids!
Greg throws a chatter everyday for three years to never throw it again and is surprised that they bite it at the stomping grounds lol. A long lost love rekindled.
that's a great day to me Mr Sir !! Catching Fish Seeing Fish Being On the water just Fishing .... win win !! Thanks for sharing your trip back Home ... First time ever using a Slobberknocker & ( black/blue ) was last ye on the CA Delta 3rd cast running the outter grass line an WHAMO seen her come out an nail it 👍 tip the scale @ 3.89 ... now it's tied on each time i Fish the delta .... plus i just like the name .. SLOBBERKNOCKER !! LoL 🤣
Check out the YakGadget Quadbar for a single fish finder mounting option. I just bought it for my TitanX 10.5 and it's pretty clean if you're only running one graph. I know you typically run 2, but for 1 graph it looks a lot sleeker than the captains bar.
Greg - when is the kayak getaway. I mean at this point you have about 30 🤣. I still haven’t launched my Old Town w/ Minn Kota after having for last 2yrs 🤦🏼♂. Ha. 🤣 Maybe next time your at Folsom Lake ( your nemesis lake ). Always look forward to your New York videos from here in Cali. Tight lines 🎣
haha it's in the works and thinking maybe ISE next year. maybe then but find anyone that has a yak and get out there! i bet there will be a good topwater bite going on soon if not already
Greg don’t you ever damage your transducer or worry about getting it damage while landing or coming back from fishing, or loading it sliding it on the bed of the truck doesn’t that damage your transducer?
Wake and bake, cup o coffee and the new GB video it’s looking to be a good Wednesday my friends. Thank you Greg and we know you will bounce back after last tournament. Way to grind boys. Tight lines
I'm currently working on setting up my first "real" kayak and doing foot steering. The steering is gonna be natural or really take some work to get used to I imagine. Hey maybe I'll see you some time in NorCal Kind of a newb getting into the tourney seen out there. Your vids are insightful.
I have a question. Why a titan I mean I’ve been looking for a bit now to start up my kayak fishing and I’m torn between the Hobie 360 xr and the titan any way you can sway me to which side? Just wanna be open minded when buying would be helpful for an answer thank you and also I enjoy or content very much you are one of the reason I’m getting a kayak
just have to say I've never been nor had experience in a Hobie so I can't speak to it. I just like the Native boats for their propel drive as I feel it gives me better control on the water and they're probably the most stable kayaks on the market which is important to me especially when the weather gets sketchy. Lots of other reasons but been using them since 2014 and haven't had a reason to look anywhere else
They're NRS boots, waterproof and not as "hot" as you'd think as in I can where them when the temps are in the 70's without discomfort. amzn.to/4bvC1Bg
Where do you get the under the seat drawer?! I have a titan 12 and i just have a small storage box under mine kind of a hassle getting in and out can’t find the drawer
Hey Greg, can you give me a link to your foot steering controls that are on your setup back home? The ones that the Wizard installed for you. I cant seem to find that roller foot peg style track anywhere man. Thanks for the help, I'm a long time fan! Keep up the grind 🤙🏼
thank you sir! I think this boat not having like crazy amounts of gear/weight to it keeps it much dryer or really keeps the hull high enough in the water so the water can't push in
That bandaid segment was just adorable 🤗🩹
hahaha that ole crusty bandaid probably did more harm than good🤣
It's sooo rewarding and a great feeling when you cycle through baits for hrs and finally figure them out!!
im always amazed of how much the fish pulls me on a kayak
Finally.. all day of work and now home to enjoy greg.....
Greg thanks for taking me with you!! Kayak looks great! Good fishing have a blessed day!!

Nice to have you back home... I look forward to the next couple of videos of you back home... It's always a treat for me....😊😊
feels great to be back home, a true vacation for me
@@GregBlanchardFishing the fishing seems so much better in these NY videos, I'd move back home.
How awesome is it that every year you basically go back in time two months to the prespawn on a fantastic fishery!

Id love to have just one of these kayaks and hes got I think at least 4 of them now. Maybe 5.
Being up in the northeast myself, I love the NY trips every spring!!
We know the season is officially on when Greg shows up. Cayuga lake magic dock time!!
Welcome back home. If I ever get some money to buy a new kayak we gotta hook up for a fishing trip.
Gotta love those natural lakes. I grew up almost 3 hours from you in Dunkirk NY. Right on the border of Lake Erie.

Just got home from fishing 4th lake in Old Forge. All post spawn now lots of rock bass and a few smallies. 90 degrees here today
I was regretting not bringing some rods with me as soon as I started driving by all that water!
That big boy woulda been my PB. Awesome fishing.

Hey G.
Next time try a 11- S Rapala in silver and black or gold and black with a spin cast rod for those fish!
Weird seeing you on a Titan and not be standing in a few inches of water. Definitely a much lighter kayak build!
Super clear!

Those foot pegs for steering are awesome. Since native is the same company as Bonafide I wonder if they would fit on the bonafide pwr129.
