I have one Quick Question i tried to do this now with many Toys of my Son, all of his dinosaurs just works from 1 side i always have half of a Dinosaur. He cant get the otherside to work any ideas ? tried his Golem works perfect.
I would suggest to take the pictures yourself to have a better understanding of the process. You don't need a fancy equipment, just use your smartphone camera. :)
OK question. I set up my cut cage a lite bit to close and my generated mesh have hole. How reverse that stage without recalculate whole vertex cloud once again ?
I'm not entirely sure, but I think you'll have to restart from the Build Dense Cloud. You can try just rebuilding the mesh, but I don't know if it will be enough.
I can't wait for part 2. I explored more photogrammetry and try another 2 software. ReMake (Autodesk) and GNU VisualSFM+cmvs+meshlab. There is result (Photoscan up, down ReMake) (free software puke ugly model :/ ) i.imgur.com/BXusjQR.jpg Probably i mess up density in ReMake because there is no compare between 500k and 200k i.imgur.com/GXPrySD.jpg I wonder Your method to close that big hole. Left Zbrush (zremesher close hole) right ReMake tool to close hole i.imgur.com/EwR59R5.jpg
jurandfantom I've tried few different software for photogrammetry, and the best two are Agisoft Photoscan, and CapturingReality (to not be mistaken with Capture Reality, which is a different software). To close holes I usually rely on ZBrush, just convert your geometry into Dynamesh, and ZBrush will take care of the holes. Make sure to keep a copy of the original scan. Part 2 is coming later this week :)

I was wondering who's the only stupid that clicked dislike to this fucking awesome tutorial xD
Can we have the images to practice ourselves? :)
