Yet another excellent video Professor Gabrawy! Well done. Love the writing of the notes while explaining. Also love the demo!!! SO HELPFUL!!!
This video certainly taught me better than any of my professors in Univ. Thank you Dr.
Hi vasudha ZORA, thank you for the nice validating comment! Study well and enjoy!

That’s what’s up!!
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing
v informative video👍👍👍
great video thanks
Amazing video!!!! being a Dexter fan I wanted to know more of the actual analysis on a bloodstain. I got a question though...how can this type of analysis be performed on surfaces involving dirt or top soil?, like in the woods.
Very informative video.
very informative, thank you!!
Great video!
The 8th droplet was accidentally marked as the fourth. 6:25
yeah
Helpful! 👍
Hey, I have to ask.. Regarding the Ashli Babbit shooting... Is it unusual that the wall behind her looks 'clean' given the firearm used, distance from her, and the trajectory of the round?
To me, it looks like there should be forward spatter on the wall.
Eluem, this is a very interesting find. I have to say first that I feel sad all this happened. Ok, I looked at as many public images as possible. You're right, no spatter anywhere really and she was shot in the neck. This is what we're told, anyway. Now, she was wrapped in a flag.. so you know, a loosely wrapped cloth. If there was no exit wound, this could make sense that there's no spatter as the flag was enough to trap all blood and keep it inside. Spatter on the glass would be back spatter, and you're right Eluem, forward spatter, if it occurred, would be found on the wall behind her. The wall was close enough for gunshot spatter that far and land on the wall. But again, if there was no spatter, the flag must have been enough. What's interesting is that they said she was shot in the neck??!? How could a bullet, hitting a neck 5 feet away, not exit? Maybe breaking through the glass was enough to slow it down?
@@sciencebygabrawy the window wasn't in the way of the round. The window was already broken out. She was standing in the frame when she was supposedly shot.
There's a video that you can find by searching for things wrong with the Capitol shooting. Every time I comment a link or even type the full title, my comments seem to disappear.
Edit: the title includes the phrase "in 21 minutes or less"
At the 3 minute and 15 second mark in the video, two side by side videos of the shooting, from different angles can be observed.
That's the main part of the video I'm trying to show you. It's the only version I've seen that stitches it together and syncs them like that.
@@sciencebygabrawy thank you for the rapid and open minded response, by the way. It's greatly appreciated.
UA-cam: What brought you here?
Me: I wanted to animate blood splatter
Simply wow 🙌🏻
Well explained in just 37 minutes.. 😍 Thank you so so much sir.
My pleasure Pragati Verma! Study well!
There definitely must be something I dont get here: In the video at 4:35 The blood-droplet travels to the LEFT, not the right = in the left direction. So I clearly dont understand something here. I am very interested in knowing WHAT I dont understand?
How many feet of back-spatter is likely from firing from one barrel of a 12 bore shotgun (pheasant cartridge category) if a victim, facing the shooter and sitting down, is shot in the heart from approx 7-10 feet? Researching for a novel! Thanks.
Great video, complex subject simply explained. One thing that I question tho ;) is the bit about cast off spatter. "Three cast offs equals two blows" ... wouldn't three cast offs indicate a minimum three blows, possibly four.
Ok, got it - the "first one does not bear any blood". Had to watch a couple of times to sink it ;) thanx again for the great video, really like the notes, too.
Tho I just watched it again ... and it became less clear ... 30 min mark ... anyone got any thoughts?
For cast off the fist line of blood came straight from the person being hit the as the weapon lifts to hit again that’s the first castoff because the blood came off the weapon then after that hit there’s one more cast off from them lifting from that hit
I hope that helped
You labeled the heights wrong on the blood dropping.
I believe you mistaked blood drop number 4 for blood drop number 8
Yep you’re right! I didn’t watch closely. But you still get it right?
POV: You got this in Miss Orizu's class
