Oh Mouth Restaurant! So many fond memories of lunch gatherings with my ex colleagues when I was working at the previous company. Our office is just upstairs at China Square. Too bad I cannot really take prawns.

I agree that Mouth restaurant is one of the best in Singapore for dim sum and cantonese food. I am not particularly fond of custard bun, but Mouth Restaurant's custard bun is definitely the best I have personally eaten and will recommend it.
Another traditional dim sum restaurant is Red Star Restaurant at Chin Swee road.
Red Star I heard it’s traditional because pulling cart but dim sum quality seems not very haochi

wish where i live they had this kinda dimsum... im so jealous!! midwest in the states really isnt known for cantonese dishes.... the chinese spot here in my city is owned by a cantonese speaker but everything is americanized! but then again st louis is famous for the st paul sandwich... which is a egg foo young patty on bread with veggies n mayo

Suggest to go black society for dim sum. D other fav of ours is imperial treasure. Used to love mouth but during its early days back in the late 90s. Then it’s standard dropped.

I can't decide if "Mouth" is a good name or a bad name for a restaurant . . . are there restuarants in Singapore where you don't use your mouth (if so I don't want to know how you get the food in!). And I was anticipating an "Irenerene HK buys a spare battery" cookie video loool . . . :-)

There are better places - Canton Paradise, Imperial Treasure (not necessarily Cantonese), Lei Garden n other hotel eateries.
Especially Canton Paradise at Sengkang, you should try char siu soh, siew mai and bal loh bao

@@IrenereneHK it is the push cart type but the taste is not that Hk style. But it is definitely what Singaporeans grew up eating. Go try and you will know what I mean.
