【南大嶼誌 (上)】與鳥安好的距離 South Lantau Chronicle - The Most Comfortable Distance to Birds

大嶼山南部的水口灣是眾多生物的家園，這片廣闊的海灣和沙坪亦是各種遷徙水鳥的驛站；與此同時，這裡亦是很多遊人的樂園，掘蜆、攝影、水上活動、各式各樣的遊客…源源不絕的人群，對長途跋涉遷徙的候鳥有何影響？
自2021年起，香港觀鳥會於南大嶼 #水口、#貝澳、#十塱、#分流 展開為期兩年的鳥類研究，當中包括 #研究人類活動對水鳥的干擾，並提供相應的保育建議。以往我們較少涉足大嶼山進行鳥類調查，今次研究所得數據對鳥會保育工作非常有價值！

South Lantau's Shui Hau is a habitat for many species, and this vast bay and sandflats serve as a stopover for various migratory waterbirds. It is also a hotspot for many tourists, with activities like clam digging, photography and water sports. What impact does this influx of people have on the long-distance migratory birds?
Since 2021, the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society has been conducting a two-year research project in South Lantau at Shui Hau, Pui O, Shap Long and Fan Lau. The project includes studying the disturbance to waterbirds caused by human activities and suggesting corresponding conservation measures.

😄😄😄其實, 假日大批遊客到訪掘蜆, 可能對雀鳥的騷擾, 也是很大. 觀鳥會會否建議政府, 訂立一個禁掘蜆期, 類似休魚期, 以保育海岸, 改善生境.

咁我想問下觀鳥會你們自己有冇搔擾到雀鳥？例如你們影片中也有很多大頭雀鳥，同樣明顯是近距離拍攝雀鳥的影片或照片？！
為何你們自己影就得，其他人影就是搔擾？！
這豈不是：「只准州官放火，不准伯姓點燈」嗎？！
