What a difference Malgrat is now compared to when I was there with the family back in the mid 80's. Had to go under the underpass to get to the beach in the day. Also from what I remember also is that most of the tourists were moved up to Lloret de Mar. Oh my what memories.

Santa Susanna 40+yrs ago, Can't remember the walkway being there. Our first very enjoyable holiday in Spain. All the hotel staff were from Andalusia.

My first ever holiday abroad was Malgrat in 1975, stayed at the Hotel Papi, the bottom end as you get to the town centre itself doesn’t really seem to have changed after all these years

Malgrat and Santa Susanna are very familiar for me. I went there more then 20 times. Last September 2019 we stayed at Camping El Pins. This camping is situated between Malgrat de mar and Blanes beside the “rio tordera” unfortunately whey won’t go to Malgrat de mar this year due to the Covid-19 virus. But next year we will go to Malgrat de mar for a holiday. Top tip, if you liked roast chicken then visit restaurant “La bota” in the old center of Malgrat de Mar.

Leuk film,volgende keer wat meer te doe dingen laten zien,zwembaden bij hotels,barretjes restaurantjes,kermis of het treintje . Fiets step of scooter verhuur,voetjes in het water met visjes zijn ook leuke di gen om te zien.Groetjes Luud

spain was a great place to holiday in the 70s, everything seems to have changed after the 80s, not the same as it used to be
