    These girls are now one of the highest paid endorsers here in Philippines. Any merch/products related to Bini are always sold out. These girls are now earning more than enough and they deserved it!

    • @jjhaya
      @jjhaya 4 місяці тому +10

      I mean we know the one who earns a lot more money is the people above them; the group is working hard so I hope they equally get their share.

    • @marklawrenceanzale1110
      @marklawrenceanzale1110 4 місяці тому +3

      @@jjhaya the comment focuses on Bini being the highest paid endorsers, mentioning other people's work and income is unnecessary, it can unintenionally create conflicts you know?

    • @jjhaya
      @jjhaya 4 місяці тому +5

      @@marklawrenceanzale1110 It’s understandable to question how much high-paid endorsers, especially idol groups managed by companies like ABS, actually earn, given that their earnings are likely divided among various parties. It makes sense that those above them deserve their portion, as they have invested significantly in areas such as housing, coaching, music videos, and have supported the group despite their initial lack of success during the first couple of years.
      Some calculations suggest that each member might earn at least 10 million, which they truly deserve. I just hope they receive their fair share.
      Additionally, I’ve noticed that their UA-cam channel appears inactive, which could be another potential source of income. Perhaps when their schedule allows, they could start posting blog content there. 📹✨

    • @8TillDend
      @8TillDend 4 місяці тому

      @@jjhaya that is always been the case to everyone and not just Bini. Management always earns more. That is I did not mention any amount and I only said they are earning now more than enough.

    25:49 that said Mexican Peso on screen 🤣🤣and not PHP. 35:25 Kpop try to limit certain things and subjects. Philippine culture is very open and it's about keeping it real, it's what nurtures the individual for creativity and innovation etc.

      Agree. Also, the currency value of USD and PHP are different in each other's country. A thousand dollar budget may not be enough for an average US household per month but in the Philippines, $1000 or around 50k pesos is more than enough for a family of five to live by.

    And the best thing about these girls is that they're still very humble, a truly down to earth people. They know where they came from and never be ashamed. Their heads are looking up high, but their feet are buried in the ground.

    Yes, people who follow K-Pop, may find them refreshing. Our country is more forgiving and chill about these thinga. More personal stuff. Even with sensitive subjects like LGBT, religion, politics, though still taken with caution for some artists. We take things with humor most of the time. Having followed K-Pop myself since 2nd gen, it's frustrating and painful to see Korean idols (even in JPop) get crucified over the most trivial things. I hope BINI won't get pressured into these things once they get more global recognition. I love their authenticity.

    I still remember from years back when they're the ones going out on the streets handing out flyers for their own shows and doing streaming for a small number of people just to get recognized. They really started from the ground up and there's really no guarantee whether they will become a success, so it was also a huge gamble on the girl's part . Now I'm very happy that their hardwork finally pays off and they're getting the recognition they deserve.

    OFW is such an integral part of modern Filipino culture; it became a way for us to save the economy after so much went down, and an entire generation grew up separated from their parents because every other mom/dad had to be a nurse or a caregiver in some other country and send money back home because there weren't enough jobs. There's a PPop boy group called ALAMAT that wrote a song about this called ILY ILY, based on a traditional lullaby that was sung to kids, but they turned it into a rock-rap ballad sung to their parents who have been away.

    • @adrianplata204
      @adrianplata204 4 місяці тому +4

      The perfect example would be GLOC-9's "Walang Natira". That song really describes to the core what it means to be an OFW.

    To explain the shut-down, ABS-CBN used to be one of the 2 major broadcasting networks in the country and was the most widely available TV channel even on public broadcast. So they were the primary source of news for the general public. But during the Duterte regime (idk if you're familiar, he's the president that ordered the police to kill drug pushers and addicts where thousands of people estimated to have died from extrajudicial killing) ABS-CBN was really critical in their coverage of his administration's human rights violations and corruption. So the government found a loophole about their licensing agreement, said their license was expired, took them off the air and public broadcast.

    Yes. You are correct, man! There is no reason to hate bini they did nothing wrong or anything bad to other people but sadly some of our fellow Filipinos hate them or bashing them and the reason is shallow they hate local talent being recognised or they just want kpop or other groups aside our local talents to be popular as we do have a past that any local talent is corny or not good. Wake up, fellow Filos. Our own is now getting recognised and popular now. Sad to admit some of our own is hating Bini for no apparent reason they are just jealous or envious. Bini deserve to be recognised that they worked hard for it for years.

    We Filipinos love celebrities whom we can relate to, and getting to know them, especially their personal lives, endears them to us. Their journey from rags to riches resonates with the ordinary folks who struggle to achieve a better life for themselves and their family. We have to admit, life in the Philippines is hard for most Filipinos, which is why we find solace and strength in our family/friends, in our faith in God, and in finding humor in almost every situation.

    there are 3 reasons that the people hate bini here in philippines.
    1. they are the hard core fans of another p pop group sadly there is fan war happening.
    2. they have bashers the supporter of our privius prisedent who is the number 1 proponent why the ABS-CBN was shotdown. they are afraid that ABS-CBN will use bini against them that's why they are trying to destroy the image of bini.
    3. the people who is believing the bashers without knowing the true personality of bini

    Im not really sure if this is foreign to other countries:
    But Filipino culture in general is about striving for family. For most of us, any kind of success is incomplete if you know your immediate family members are not doing well.
    Its a double edge sword that resulted in a cultural issue that I dont want to tap into (filipino knows this "investment" culture).
    But the positive side is, winning is when everyone in the family gets the chance of having a piece of your success. And I'm glad that they didnt shy away from sharing their background and their place in the social hierarchy.
    In my perspective, By international standards, these details, at some level, are "embarrassing" to tell. And I'm glad to know that it at least peaked the interest of the international fans or viewers.

    In the Philippines, a young single woman wage earner often carries significant responsibilities and expectations from her family. These expectations may include financial support, medical expenses, education, sacrifice of personal goals, and emotional support. All of that is not missed in each one of the Binis. From their stories, only Aiah and Mikah seem to come from middle-class families. Of course, I'm only assuming. I could be corrected.

    Yes, the backgrounds of artists in a country like the Philippines are like the backgrounds of 2nd generation kpop idols like Super Junior (the generation whose parents suffered from the Asian financial crisis) because of the country’s economic situation. I always hope artists like them succeed because they work so hard not just for an individual dream but for the future of their families. There’s nothing wrong with chasing a dream, of course… it’s just that it’s a matter of survival for these artists.

    If we compare Philippine pesos to dollars, it will look small. I guess it’s better, to add context, to say that the average daily minimum wage in the Philippines is at around 500 pesos per day. So, 20,000 is a huge amount, especially in the provinces outside Metro Manila.
