Really enjoyed this, but I seem to have a thing for these Dance Gavin Dance/A Lot Like Birds/Fall of Troy bands that mix the catchiness of pop with the instrumental complexity of proggy math rock and the occasional aggression of hardcore/metal screams/grit. Despite having heard all of their influences I still didn't find this generically iterative, probably because all of the individual elements were really memorable; I'm guessing I'll have some of those melodies and riffs going through my head for a while. Will definitely have to check these guys out.

The music video hints at medical drugs and pills destroying a family. What a beautiful song and that bridge is very touching. And if you notice, everything about the song is chaotic except the bridge. Hinting that the bridge is being on drugs and snapping back to chaos (being sober). I think your spiral point aligns to this idea. What is the outro song?

You should check "The Summoning - Sleep Token", and the other 3 singles they've released some weeks ago, all of those tracks are marvelous

They're on the list but I haven't had time yet. When I get to them it's just going to be Summoning though since it's the most requests of their singles.

Love this album and song. Even though it's one of my least favorites on the album, not a bad one to check out :)
