Those dolphins are called Hectors Dolphins, one of the smallest dolphin species in the world, they are also an endangered species. Their North Island cousins are called Maui's Dolphins.
Awesome description of Phillipino people. You're so right, they are just amazingly kind, courteous and always have a smile ❤. Thank you Glen and Mado for being the amazing humans that you both are. I am going to plan a trip around Aotearoa because of the beautiful spots yous have invited us to share with yous ❤❤❤God bless you both and your whanau 🙏
We have talked to so many! we think the Philippine people are wonderful :) can't wait to visit the country one day! were glad that our videos have gave you a perspective on the beauty you have in the country :)
I love the Catlins - I grew up holidaying at our family 'crib' just 15min inland from Papatowai in Tahakopa (will be *very* surprised if anyone has ever heard of it!). Most beautiful and wild place - just perfect ❤
Hi Guys living in NZ is pretty cool and I have been every where over the years but the catlins is one of my favourite places I had a week there two years ago then on to Stewart Island just the most amazing place in the world enjoy our country love your videos
were glad you got to explore your own country as many don't! see as much as you mentioned. catlins was absolutely awesome we loved it too and will remember this place :)
Great vlog as always guys "Can't believe there's a fridge outdoors, that's so cool !" :) Can see you two not wanting to leave 🇳🇿 when you reach the end of this journey !
Wow, what a wonderful video. I am 75 years old and I have been twice on New Zealand. I am wondering if I should rent a van and drive alone on South Island and that is because of your video Guys. The problem is it so far from Norway, more than 26 hours flying time.😞. My last flight from Sideney was 23 hours. Greetings from Norway with wind gusts 62 m per second last night.
I'd love to see you back in Northland. The Irish are popular cos so many of us whakapapa to Ireland, that means our ancestors come from there. That was special to see the dolphins.
Catlins area is an absolute dream of a place to visit. Did you also do relic bay whilst you were there? Right next to Porpoise Bay. A fossilised forest area where some of the fossilised wood is still there on the beach. Just glad you saw those amazing dolphins. Those are some of the smallest in the world and we are lucky to have them in NZ
You should try Steam pots. They work for potatoes, vegetables and even chicken.. Place the water in the bottom pot. Steam the rest. Stack up the pots. Might do wonders. Thanks for another awesome video. Regards. South Africa 🇿🇦.
Might be a struggle with the gas stove! it's not that efficient, I don't think. you would need to cook for quite a while this way, no? No, thank you for tuning in, John!
Loving watching you explore the Caitlin's, one of my favourite places in the world! Take note of the trees growing sideways, that's because the wind comes in strong off the Southern Ocean direct from Antarctica 🙂
Your man's saying kahawai.A very under rated and prolific fish in southern waters. With care on taking the fish.Dispatch/bleeding.You will enjoy nothing more. They fight like hell😊
Gutted! We were in kaka point at the same time 😅 wish we had of seen you as we'd be saying hi.. been watching your videos a lot. If you're passing through Gore and want a hot shower you're more than welcome to stop in.
There’s campervans in the car park every night at the lighthouse, everyone goes there that tours the Catlins, the museum in Owaka has had the highest rate of tourists in the last few years, it’s very popular. Curio bay is the most popular spot with tourists. Why have you hashtagged Napier it’s in the North Island.
They eat the smallest crabs not putting them back not happy Glen don't get wrong all Asian's do it that's why the have fished there waters clean they don't give them a enough time to grow bigger, I enjoy watching your videos.

One of the things that makes the Catlins so amazing is that it isnt full of gawping tourists.
No way I'm going swimming in the sea that far South. Even here is Perth I only swim in the sea mid summer.
Awh shane it ain't even that bad! hahah sure the irish sea is much worst! Discomfort will only make you stronger shane 😉
No Glen. You can NOT jump into the blowhole! 😂 She's the voice of reason bro, you gotta listen to her.

Wow where is this?!
There's no cellphone reception in most of the Catlins, which can be a pain, if you need to be near your ph for some reason.

Most of us kiwis have Irish or Scottish blood
