I loved this film but the director ruined the end. It was beautifully made and both of the actresses did such a great job. I really loved both of them. You are right, it has all the butterflies.
The book has a different ending from the movie. That’s the result when the writer sells his book. Script writers can alter or not, the story line. It has a happy ending compared to the movie.
@@paopao101209 Yes I know. It was the director's choice to alter the ending. However, that is not always the case. Many writers have clauses in their contracts limiting what they can or can't change. Very famous writers can also have in the contract limitations on casting and other production decisions including script approval.

Stunning cinematography with lightning-in-a-bottle moments that captured true love between two women. 👩❤️👩 I'll say something almost sacrilegious, but the changed ending from the book is more realistic for the time. It's not what anybody wants, but it's understandable. It underscores the rest of the story - it was a time that such relationships were scandalous or forbidden. Such portrayals are important to remind us all how much things have changed, but also how much work is still necessary to maintain and advance to a more open and accepting society. The movie is bittersweet, as is much of life. We just have to endure the bitter and enjoy the sweet. 😊 Love is love. Let it shine! ❤️👩❤️👩🌈👍
Based solely on your review and video, Nancy, I am excited to watch this film. I had opportunities in the past, but just didn’t take them. Clearly I missed out on a thoughtful, beautiful, butterflies-inducing movie. And not gonna lie: longer and more expicit love scenes than what you expected just adds to the desire to watch it. 😊 Keep up the excellent work, Nancy! ❤ 💖💐🌈
