I was born in ‘96. I had an easy bake oven, so many barbies & hand me down 90s barbies from my older cousins, the original pollypockets & the 00s ones & those little Disney tents & sleeping bags. My first watch was a purple Barbie watch for my 5th birthday 🥰
I remember those WishBooks. My mother would always get three of them. She would give each of us a book and a pen to circle what we wanted. She would then use her WishBook to make notes on her Christmas ideas. Sears is still online. enjoying the videos!
Also the Kitchenettes and the toy cash registers 😍god I miss the 90’s we had so much fun!! And your decorations are so beautiful! Makes me want to go out and thrift more! ❤️
Oh wow! Love that ceramic Xmas tree. My mom made one herself in white many years ago. This year she passed away and I will be taking the tree to my apartment. 🎄
Thank you for posting these type of videos. 💖 I'm really homesick right now as I'm not able to be with family this Christmas. Somehow I find it relaxing to see your decorations. I'm praying I can get home by New Years. Happy Holidays! 🎄☃️🤍
Hello! My mom and I were just talking about your comment because the holidays have been so different. I’m happy you enjoyed the video. I’m sorry you’re feeling homesick and I’ll be hoping you’ll get to go home for New Years. Stay cozy and connected either way ❤️ thank you so much for watching ❤️❤️❤️
I have that exact music player with the bear on skates! Had it ever since I was a child and played every Christmas when it was at my grandmother’s ❤️ 🥺Thank you for that, brought me tears remembering those Christmas’.
Hi Liz, What wonderful memories. My daughter was born in 86 & loved all the Polly Pockets & Barbies, & Little Mermaid. She also got, the Super Nintendo, when she was three, for xmas. Really enjoyed, this video. Thank you, again Liz..
I really love your taste in decorations, they’re so cozy and homey. I was born in 82, and I really miss the 80s and 90s, to me those were the good old days. I love the toys and merchandise from that era. I had a Lion King video game in this catalogue, I’ve totally forgotten about it! I love these trips down memory lane. Do you have any pound puppies? ❤️
Great video! I had an easy bake oven from the 1960's. My cousin gave it to me. She had kept all of the pans and other items, so it was usable. My sister and I got one for Christmas that year as well, it was in the 1970's. My sister wouldn't let me use our new one, so my dad got a new bulb for the one my cousin gave me and I used it. The home karaoke machines were new then, that is why they were so expensive. I saw a Carrom board. I have one. Not many people play these days. My grandmother taught me how to play. I have Barbies from the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and from the early 2000's. It is fun looking through old catalogs. I have one that belonged to my grandfather's older sister. It is from 1909. It is a very cool catalog. Thank you for sharing your decorations. I am unpacking things from my move, so am living amongst boxes at the moment. I haven't put out any decorations at all this year. It doesn't seem like Christmas. It is supposed to be in the 60's (Farenheit) on Saturday. I remember when we always had close to a foot of snow on Christmas. Global warming is definitely real. I hope you have a beautiful holiday season and stay warm and cozy. I may have to break out the shorts. Southern Illinois, always a surprise. 😁 Sending love and hugs! 💜💜💜
Lovely items Liz, I really like the tree and the coca cola items. Also I watch Home Alone with my daughter all the time this season. ☃️Wishing you and your family a very happy Christmas and a blessed New Year. 💕🎄❄️☃️
Hello my friend!!! I’m so happy you enjoyed ❤️ Home Alone is definitely my fav but I also love the Santa Clause & Jack Frost ❄️❤️☃️ I hope you and your daughter have a cozy holiday
Omg I loved thisss so much! 1994 was my first Christmas after finally being adopted. There were so many things in that wish book that I remember getting that year! One of the dolls”newborn Nancy” was something I was really excited to get based on the photos from that time lol and we also had a “Pico” game system which I dunno if anyone else remembers but it was so fun! Those Fort/sleeping bag things were something I always wanted too haha I feel like I remember my cousin having a Pocahontas or Esmeralda one or something and then giving it to us afterwards. The barbies, Barney, and ya that easy bake oven that wasn’t easy bake I think maybe that’s the one we had too!!! We eventually got the easy bake oven but I remember that one too, sooo tasty!!! I can still taste it!!!
thank you for showing the wishbook, i was reminded of somethings from my childhood (: merry christmas liz🎄i hope you also stay cozy ✨ (i just love these cozy videos)
I love that Coca Cola Store on the Strip in Vegas. That place has everything Coca Cola, but it is always nice to see vintage pieces when I walk through antique stores. Walking through antique stores for me is like going to a museum. Full of nostalgia for me. They don't make things they way they use to.
I have so much to say about so many things!!! I love the Hawkins Cheezies ornament 😍 I also watch Home Alone multiple times per holiday season. (Sometimes midway through the year when I’m wanting to feel cozy. Uncle Buck and Adventures in Babysitting give me the same vibe). I also never realized that “Home Alone” in French was called “Mom, I missed the plane”. I think that’s delightfully weird 😂💖 I recently received some of my Nana’s ornaments and she had those clip-on birds. I have a few and my Mom kept a few. They’re lovely. The old school tree ornament boxes! I’ve never seen them before, but I really love the way they look and the concept of dedicated ornament boxes instead of just using old shoe boxes. I also received my Nana’s tree skirt which she intricately cross stitched and I love it so much. The scene on it looks just like your Christmas village! With the stone bridge, the church, the decorated tree in the centre ❤️ I love the hand painted figures from your Mom and your boyfriend’s Mom. I have 3 hand painted angels made by my great Aunt which are just beautiful and such a lovely heirloom. The skating bear music box is absolutely wonderful!!! 🥰 I love how you go all out with your decor. What a labour of love to take such care and to store it all and bring it out each year. It’s really great. Merry Christmas 🎄 🚂 🎁 ❄️❤️💚🤍
@@charmedintuitiontarot 🥰 ty also for all of your videos! These Christmas ones & holidays videos are so fun to watch & you give my fav readings! ☃️❄️🎄⭐️
I was 5 in 94 but so many of those toys were in my life because of my older brother. This was great, I REALLY love everything nostalgia related. Also, i think its cause your sweater went to your knuckles but everytime I saw your hands I thought they were those fake ones you put on your fingers lol
Yeah I think your right, the prices maybe changed like ten bucks or so. But seems pretty familiar. I feel like I'm taking a trip down memory road, it's really relaxing and just kinda euphoric. Love it. Thank you
Hi Liz!! Loved this ❤️🎄❄️ We are postponing Christmas as we are quarantined. Sigh. So this was super cheerful!! I had the flowered rug from the catalog also still wear Giorgio perfume!! Thanks for cheering me up on Christmas Eve!! Cindy
Hello Cindy ❤️ I’m happy this video could cheer your up. I’m hopeful next Christmas will feel more normal. This Christmas has been so different and I haven’t been able to see a lot of my family. I hope you’re being cozy though, taking care of yourself and staying connected even by FaceTime or phone with the people you love 💕 I hope you get to get together with everyone very soon. That’s cool you saw some items you have in the catalogue! 🎄 Thank you so much for commenting 💕
OMG can you adopt me so that I can spend the holidays at your house? I just love the way you decorate. I know I'm already an adult but I have a two-year-old son that is about to turn three and I promise he can make you smile
I don't know what my oven was called, but I had one that made a flat 2D jelly doll with accessories. I went to town with that one. I think it is called Dolly Maker. I still have my Polly Pocket hand held video game.
Me & my now ex- boyfriend, collected coca cola! It is a lot of fun to collect & Santa w/ coca cola is nostalgic! Yes! My daughter collected Polly Pockets too! I enjoy all your videos & wish you Liz & your family a very merry xmas!

Hey Ang! ❤️ Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed the nostalgia!
Avon use to sell Christmas ⛄🎄 Decorative Figurines, but I have not seen any these last five plus years. I wish they would bring that back.

I really liked those long velvet dresses at 24:30. I remember in the 90's they were popular. I still love those medieval looking dresses. 💕💕

I love this annual video
I always love these videos. So cute. My mom has the snow globe (box) with Santa in it. The same one and we are from NJ so that's wild lol.
I had the fairy winkles shell compact. !! I remember how much I loved the glitter and teensy fairy babies!

OMG I screamed out "hey my house my old doll house!! That was my prized possession.
Beautiful home, so cozy. That is a real recipe. There is a cup of molasses which is very sweet & cinnamon so you should try the recipe. :)
Cinnamon is naturally sweet, molasses is like thick liquid sugar. ;) so the added brown sugar is just to top it off. Plus you can add icing.
Thank you Loreena! I don’t know why I didn’t even think of the molasses you’re right! ❤️ maybe I’ll have to try that recipe!! Thank you 💕🎄

If that ceramic gingerbread house is for tea lights/candles inside, my parents have the exact same one.
