- Loading pigs can be a nightmare for any pastured hog producer. We've had some rough ones and some good ones. Keeping it low stress is key to getting them on the trailer in an orderly fashion.

I love your videos. Thank you for your service.
This looks like it went pretty smooth. Slow and steady.
Nice crowding boards
Ya’ll have apparently worked together before. Nice job
That was well done.
Man! They are a handful! Lol
that is as good a loading on hogs as I have seen ....well done..
Very, Very nicely done. No sense in rushing (and thereby stressing) the animals. I'm sure it was no easier for the processor to unload them! Pigs are funny that way.
We unload at processor too.
@@FarmBuilder Ah, fun at departure AND destination! Seriously, nice job with the animals. And, having met you and been out to your farm, I know you treat the animals with great care whether a camera is rolling or not.
Looked great! How did you get them into the wooden enclosure so that you could push them with the pig boards?
Nicley done I've seen to many people kick, punch and rush pigs trying to get them onto trailer and it's not needed .I personally like to get the used to trailer aweek before hand .but I only grow three on at a time so no were near you guys .chrack out my video on trailer training 😁
For a few pigs occasionally, trailer training works well. When it's big groups weekly and a hired hauler it's less of an option. 👍👍
Use trucks with no roof. That will make it more easier. Animals usually don’t like going in to dark areas.
Almost unheard of in this area.
Put corn in the trailer et it is done
They load so fast
Wow
How did you get them all, from the field into the corral ?
Set up this corral right out side their paddock and slowly herded them in. Their desire for the fresh ground is an extra enticement to go in. This particular group walked right in.
What kind of pigs you raise?
What breed are the pigs? Bazna x Duroc, Hempshire x duroc?
Where can I get those boards? what I use is really heavy

Where do you get your red boards from? Is that the actual name of them?
You can find them here.

👍
Could've been worse for sure. Have you ever thought of consulting with Temple Grandin?
theyre already using a curved shoot. its likely more the fault of the trailer than the handling to get them into it.
@@icryostorm3727 There's more to her systems than just a curve
@@fooddude9921 oh indeed but handling light dark noise colour - it all takes cocideration - but the operators must be reaally trained in it too.
They did so well with so little stress on the swine that there is little to be gained by hiring a consultant. Heck, he could be a consultant.
I wonder how old are they, please.
8-9 months.
The pigs i work with are way more aggressive
seemed like a nightmare for the pigs.
