Against antiziganism! The Nazi persecution of Sinti and Roma

The Nazi genocide of the Sinti and Roma had the goal of wiping out the entire population group. What exactly happened then? Historian Udo Engbring-Romang explains the Nazi persecution.
With around 100,000 citizens, Sinti and Roma in Germany form a historically grown national minority, officially recognized since 1997.
To counteract discrimination and combat social antiziganism, the National Agency for Political Education BW (LpB BW) organized a symposium on the manifestations of antiziganism. The video was shot during this conference on 13 and 14 November 2017 in the house on the Alb. Video: Rebecca Beiter.
