This is great. This will push guys to play smarter and harder. The true valuable byproduct of these vids will be for Devs. These guys are ignoring places that don't have spawns in them and devs can take this info to push more AI opportunity and utilization of the AO. Well done brother and I'm always glad to see the homie Prowlaz.
I actually really enjoyed this! Getting to see a team that appears to be used to working together go through and clear spaces provides a different perspective than seeing a couple of randoms slowly inch their way through
I like this format, it feels like like a good mix of the Door Kickers videos and regular FPS content. would love to see a breakdown of effective communication since you can't really get that in the Door Kickers theory. Great Video as always!

Dude, you make great content. I bought GB based on watching 5 minutes of one of your videos and I’m glad that I did. I’m an old school 1990’s Rainbow Six fan, and I’m grateful for content creators like you that push the industry to keep tactical shooters alive. Keep it up.
Love this format CPG! Will this be exclusive to Ground Branch, or are other games to be included? Edit: I spoke before hearing the outro lol. Love the work brother, keep it up.

Nice analysis. Great breakdown. Love a good AAR. I've noticed that more times in video games me and my guys do the same thing where we call out which direction we're going, even if we're pretty familiar with where we're going and we're others are going. Sometimes I feel it's more of a situational thing considering in a video game you have a much more limited field of view than IRL, where you could maintain your sector and hold what you got while still being able to move your head independently of where you're aiming. Good stuff. Keep it up! Great training material too. We're you an instructor? -R
one thing that bothered me about this gameplay is how he was always looking at the floor, even when going up the stairs. is keeping your barrel up not a thing in real cqb? i would expect you should always have your barrel pointed where you expect to see the threat.
When in a high/low ready you can click and get rounds down, your character brings it down/up and point fires. idk about it being realistic per se, but its a compromise for gameplay imo
@@Patchaddictedpolymath no i dont mean when at ready, i mean when hes looking down his sights, but hes got his gun pointed at the floor somewhere within a few meters in front of him
@@agenttatsu gameplay thing, iron sights block out more in game than irl making it harder to see. But yes you are correct you would keep your sights on the point of expected contact.
So what I'm doing is Tanner is something you'll actually see talked about in some of those Israeli CQB videos. Lowering your gun slightly to view the world over your optic, get a target to acquire, and snap your point of aim to it. It's a middle ground Technique between being ADS and going "Low-Ready" and it can be very helpful in some FPS situations. It also helps with preventing friendly fire, like when you saw me and my teammate looking at each other in the hallway. You'll notice I essentially didn't flag him at all. Not only does it give you a clearer view to PID, but also makes you think a split second before blasting away. Try it! You might like it :)
@@itzprowlaz ah, interesting. that makes perfect sense, actually - being raised on CoD, i developed a similar habit of keeping my gun slightly lower so i can have better vision of what's in front of me, but i didnt noticr it until i tried games like CS:GO where crosshair placement can utimately decide who wins gunfights. i just wasnt aware which philosphy translated better to real life. thanks for elaborating!

great vid hopefully the way six days in fallujah generates the map will keep cqb fresh only reason i cant play gb more is elementary modes and i played the maps to death
I recently found this channel and I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing, I see a lot of sense in the strategies you use and suggest using and I tend to find myself agreeing with a lot of your tactical assessments, I have to ask though, I've noticed a few times you mention things you might or might not apply in the real world and you certainly seem to know a lot about what you're talking about and I'm curious as to if you have formal training/experience or if it's things you've picked up over a long time gaming. I checked the about page on this channel but there was no mention of your real world tactics background.
Can i ask a tactical question? I"m 14 and trying to learn cqb tactics but i keep struggling with shoulder switching and switching hands. I don't know which tecnique i should use and when? Could anyone help me out?
It's all about good fundamentals and good geometry/angles. If you're firing the rifle from your right shoulder and you're pie'ing a corner that's left of your body, just lean into it. If it's a door, stand off away from it, pie the door frame and clear the center/majority of the room before entering and set yourself up for success by entering at the angle/corner that works best for you.
Awesome video man. Watched it whole. You seem experienced, how did you learn these tactics and have you applied them in real life? Also how do you recommend someone learn CQB tactics like these? Any books?
"Also how do you recommend someone learn CQB tactics like these?" -Sub and keep watching CPs content. The breakdown of geometry is solid. Books? The Ranger Handbook, 'Tactical Manual' by Max Velocity, 'The Modern Day Gunslinger' by Don Mann, the Make Ready series of videos with Panteao... the list goes on but Controlled Pair's videos on DoorKickers lays a solid rudimentary groundwork for a approach to CQB

Funniest part had to be when he announced he would've crumpled that manz coming around that corner
Love the format btw
To be fair I would have too. He sprints around the corner unannounced.
I feel like the only thing I ever have to say is "amazing content as usual" but it's because you put out such awesome shit on such a consistent basis.
