For your info the 4 leaf clover ( as seen beside your title "Peace pints in Northern Ireland") has nothing to do with Ireland ,, The THREE leaf shamrock has.

I have to say being a Derry man born and bred you have created a great advert for our beautiful city and explained the history / peace of the city extremely well which is a hard thing to do given the touchy subject that it is. Derry / Londonderry whatever you name it is open to everyone and it’s nice to see so many people pass through on a daily basis. Great vlog lads and thank you.

I swear if you guys arrange a summer school or summer camp , I'll be the first to sign up! Your channel encompasses everything I love; travel, food, history, diversity.
Plus, eventhough you are vloggers and I watch you virtually, there's something super detached from the crazy tech world about you guys. You both are a breathe of fresh air and I thank you.
My Dad works for an airline, so we've been lucky to travel all my life. As we've got older, my sisters have made numerous solo trips, but I've always been afraid. Let's hope it's my time soon!......and hopefully before University starts😅
    Thanks once again! x

Perfect. Brilliant. Well done. As someone who has spent the better part of the past 12 yrs. studying the Troubles (and taking students to Northern Ireland), you did a great job trying to capture the spirit of these people and this place. (p.s. we also use the book you highlighted "Making Sense of the Troubles" as one of our text!)

This is the first video from you guys that I've seen and I am blown away by your coverage of both historic and present parts of travel in Northern Ireland. I lived in Belfast for a semester in college and absolutely fell in love with that country, and this video warmed my heart. About to check out many more of your past videos, and hoping you'll be visiting Belfast next!

The troubles have never really gone away, the basics still linger on. Belfast and the surrounding area is still scary, the cops run 4WD Landrovers with bomb proofing, blast-proof side skirts, run-flat tyres, riot shields, water cannons, you name it. And that was just 2 years ago, 2016.

I really watching your travel videos. they really inspire me to travel and get to know the world.
But ironically these are parts of the world where issues aren't big, culture is safe, they are developing but what about the other countries where people are dying everyday, peace isn't even a concept, culture is dying and no one wants to protect. I understand the fact that traveler's safety is the top most priority but being a global citizen now and sharing such big platform we have responsibility to change this world at least show the world that there are other parts of the world which need attention rather than creating two world's in one world, the one media show and the other nobody gives a sh**** Peace is definitely not an overnight process but trying together can make this WHOLE world a better place where nothing is unsafe and dangerous. #Peace #HopeForTheWorld 😊

The British Empire Colony of N.Ireland -- 'Britain' ( the British Establishment) promised to get out of Ireland, for good, if Irish men fought in the British army in WW1 - after WW1 they reneged on that promise ( and set up the British Empire Colony of N.Ireland) because Unionists threatened violence and war if they had to remain in a Re-United Ireland.
Plantation of Ulster -- the Unionists' forebears were political undesirables in the Scottish Lowlands & English Midlands - they were exiled to Ireland by Cromwell, and others, then given Irish people's property and land to make allies of them --- * the reason Unionists didn't want to find themselves in a Re-United Ireland was because they feared that Ireland would take a just revenge on them for them murdering Irish men, women & children for/over the 300 YEARS since their 'plantation' into Ulster.
The British media refer to Irish Natives in the British Empire Colony of N.Ireland merely as 'Catholics' - in that way they reinforce the Unionists' false claim that it's all about 'religion'.
    Shalom
