I played on PC with a controller and the experience was great. It's just a matter of getting used to it, and the game gives you the perfect pace for learning and getting better for more precise situations later on.
@@lhmsc im not bothered about the puzzles you can always guide them im more talking about the combat and the boss fights. can you make those easy if not then its a hard pass from me.
@@xNSHD I don't quite remember if the difficulty is adjustable, but the bosses are kinda of a puzzle themselves. It might take a few tries but they are also manageable. And from my experience, I thought that when you get the stronger combat moves the bosses actually get easier by the end of the game (some of them I could almost one shot with some stronger combat skills). The truth is, as long as you're not underlevelled the combat is pretty fair.
You can adjust the difficulty whenever you like and switch it back with three sliders representing taken damage, attack frequency and puzzle speed. Really a great idea.
Fun review you guys. Thanks so much. Was just checkin in to see how this game plays out on console .. i feel like i should play it on a Switch, not on a big tv screen. It’s aesthetic reminds me so much of the GB Advance era, ... somehow feels wrong on TV, or does it?
I disagree about the controls being off with a controller.. I thought they were perfect, the game has some of the best controls I've ever experienced. Honestly, I think this game, like most action RPGs would be a pain in the ass to play with a keyboard and mouse.
@Forte Kosakku He's referring to the anime Log Horizon which is anime based in an MMO virtual world... though there are plenty of other anime that share the video game world genre. I mean a game is more than it's subgenre, it's story, it's gameplay, bosses, puzzles, rpg elements are very well executed
Dudes I know this video is old but every game I’m looking into…you guys have a great review. I loved it. Thanks a milly
Crosscode is amazing. Try mods
I like the look of this one, definitely gonna get it! Great review!

this game is just a MUST-HAVE
that's all.
Solid game and solid review. Have it on PC and played the crap outta this game.
I played this on pc via gamepass and its superb, easily up there with the best rpg's. I believe a physical edition is being released next month.
I didn't realize it was on Game pass thanks a lot I'm going to check it out 👍
Yep, retail edition for NA and EU is releasing August 28th
This or outer wilds?
Agreed. It's good. God bless. Jesus loves you!
Anyone know if this runs 4k 60 fps on ps5?
🙂 thanks for the review
Played it on pc game pass. Really an incredible game.
Got this during the current sale on Xbox and man its fantastic. Overlooked it while it was on GP and thay was my loss.
anyone give me information on how hard this game is i dont like not being able to finish games.
It's not easy but it's totally manageable. And there's an option to slow down the puzzles so more casual players don't get frustrated sometimes.

No, cause it's more like Snes rpgs, which was on tv.

@@thebocop i guess just it was a unnecessary comment. Lol its all good
