Wetland Scavenger Hunt

More immersive learning opportunities were explored in Rebecca Elton’s Field Biology class at Jamestown High School this year. Elton took her class along the Greensprings Interpretive Trail for a lesson on identifying characteristics of wetlands. In addition to the curriculum, students practiced communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills throughout the activity - a team scavenger hunt. Students were able to take the knowledge they learned in the classroom and apply it in a real-world setting, all while working together.
