Tell me, who makes rice like that, adding cold water at the end. It will totally spoil the taste of rice. A good cook should know well when to take off flame the boiling rice and leave it as it is after straining to cook it in carry forwarded heat....

Except for the rice and dal everything looks good. But nobody cooks rice like that, certainly not bengalis. No one adds oil and salt in rice, and nobody douses freshly made hot rice in cold water 🤦‍♂️ and onions are not added in Bengali style dal.
Gorom bhat baniye Tate horhor kore thanda jol dhele dile? Lok Jon to gorom bhat khete chay 😂 oibhabe keu rice strain kore thanda jol dhele? Kon bangalir ghore hoy Amon. Kokhonoi fan gala dekhoni? Ar tel diye bhat ke kore bhai!! It’s bizarre.
