Great reaction ! This concert back in 2021 was actually in the midst of the pandemic and this show was COVID-restricted, which was why you only heard clapping as the crowd was not allowed to do anything else like shouting.
This was indeed right after lock down was over in Japan, and the women had spent all that time practicing because they were better than ever for this set.
Haruna is a Beast on those drums, and the glue that binds all those glorious sounds together. How all that power streams out of her 4'9" body is Amazing. Her bandmates nickname for Haruna is "Little BIG Engine". Of course, she is also the Cutest drummer who has ever lived....

Yes, they are extremely good at doing exactly what they shall do. Very complex compositions that they follow down to the smallest detail. Their memory needs to be outstanding and their precision and hit rate must be insanely high. Now, this creates fantastic music that makes you drop your jaw. I am not sure anyone else can do this as good. The only drawback is that there is no room for improvisation and just chilling when playing. BAND-MAID can do that, they can be a bit more playful. Lovebites needs to be concentrated and following the path. Now, I love both Lovebites and BAND-MAID. I appreciate the music from both groups and I do appreciate the individuals in both groups. They seem to be chill persons all over. Nemophila has another kind of super skills. They are truly professionals that can play anything. They never play as precise as Lovebites and never are as chill as BAND-MAID. But they can play your socks off. In any kind of genre. They have a large set of cover videos to prove that. And, of course, they can go HARD! This band is the definition of power. They have one of Japan's best drummers to assure that. Regarding chill persons, this is also a group with people I can connect to. They seem like nice persons. Lastly Hanabie. A truly fun group. Not that old. The girls are also young. But, they go HARD. A tiny growler and a fantastic singer and guitarist. This band makes very fun music movies, very well recorded. They also seem like nice persons, but they are a bit too young for me to connect with their personalities.
