Very informative video! The updates on the massage chair industry were fantastic. For your next video, how about a comparative analysis of the most popular massage chair models? That would be great to watch!
Thanks for a great idea. I will do that on the next broadcast. Of course, you can go to our Comparison Chart on the website (link below) for a feature-by-feature comparison of any models in our showroom and website, but I think a conversational comparison will cover some things with more personal insights that are not as cut-and-dried as the online chart. Thanks, again. www.massage-chair-relief.com/massage-chair-comparison/ dr. w.
It's a new offering from Osaki. I have not yet sat on it, so I don't have much to offer in the way of insights. It has the sliding arm rests that make it appealing to folks who need assistance getting in and out of a massage chair. It has a split track roller system. I know that Costco has it regularly priced at $8499 and as low as $5999 during their online specials. Not much more to help than that from me. dr. w.
@@massagechairrelief Thank you!! We live in Ontario Canada. We tried the Grand Duo at the Osaki Canada showroom, we liked it. However, it would be our first massage chair so we want to do as much research as possible but there are not many videos/reviews about the Grand Duo. Guessing that's because of how new it is. The Grand Duo is much cheaper in the U.S. than Canada for some reason. Costco Canada doesn't sell the Grand Duo....Osaki Canada has it listed at $19,000 CAD ($13,100 USD approx.) on their website.
@@jeremylutchman1875 We can certainly beat that price substantially. You would still have to deal with duty/customs. Do you have a custom's broker? If not do you need a recommendation? It is a very new model, so the reviews are few and far between. dr. w.
Good info. FYI, in English, you should use "anyway", not "anyways". :). I was under the impression that the $3,000 chairs are not as well made and don't have same long-term reliability...with parts not as heavy duty as the $8-15k chairs. I'm surprised to hear you will be carrying those "lower end" change...but I suppose getting something is better than not having a chair.
Thanks for the feedback, Robin. I grew up in Canada saying "anyways". Once I moved to the USA, I heard "anyway", which threw me for a loop. It's hard to break the habit. Anyway, I'll try harder going forward! As you know, we don't carry many of the lower priced full-feature chairs. When we do, I always want to make sure I know about the factory they are built in and the occurrence of breakdowns from the distributor. If nothing else, they serve the purpose of offering comparisons to the premium chairs in our showrooms. I've also always said that even though I am not a big fan of the cheaper chairs, because of reasons I've frequently discussed, the cheaper chairs are, at the very least, a gateway for customers, with a significantly lower budget, to get into the massage chair market. dr. w.
Happy new year Alan!
Thanks, David. Same to you!
