- Yusmarg is a beautiful off beat tourist location near Srinagar, We visited Yusmarg and visited beautiful meadows and Doodhganga there.
This video was shot on 23rd April 2023.
Below are the activities we did throughout the day
We started our day from Srinagar
Chashme Shahi JKTDC - We booked a cottage for Rs 7840 for 4 occupancy.
Pari Mahal - It is situated on top of the Zabarwan Mountain Range, overlooking the Dal Lake in Srinagar. It is approximately 5 kilometers of the city center and can be reached by a short drive or a moderate hike. Its combination of stunning architecture, terraced gardens, and panoramic views make it a popular attraction for tourists visiting Srinagar.
Ticket price - Rs 24 for adult
Chashme Shahi - It is not only a beautiful garden but also a tribute to the Mughal architectural and horticultural excellence. Its serene atmosphere, refreshing spring, and picturesque landscapes make it a popular destination for tourists visiting Srinagar.

Pushpa veg restaurant - We had lunch here Mushroom Masala - Rs 210 & Dal tadka - Rs 200, then we proceeded towards the Yousmarg.
Yousmarg - It is a hidden gem in the Kashmir Valley, known for green meadows, offering a serene and unspoiled natural environment. Its stunning landscapes, pleasant weather, and adventure opportunities make it a perfect retreat for nature lovers.
Doodhganga River, with its milky white waters and scenic landscapes, is a natural attraction that adds to the beauty of the Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. It serves as a source of water, a recreational spot, and a place of natural serenity for visitors to enjoy.
Then from there, we visited a house of Shepherd to learn about their lives.
Charar-eSharief - This is about 16 km from yousmarg, with its historical shrine and spiritual legacy, holds deep religious significance for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. It is not only a place of devotion but also an important cultural landmark that represents the region's spiritual heritage and harmoniou coexistence.

Kashmir is beautiful no doubt .....but its rlly costly ... locals r completely looting the tourists .....charging abt 4000rs taxi for around 4hrs of travel....dat is insane ....also hotels r extremely costly ....a familyof 4 will spend around 50000-60000rs in one tour which i thnk is very very costly

Why do you have to visit dargah? Havent you seen kashmir files or dont you know what happened to Kashmiri pandits there?? Dont you feel anything?Ya secular ban ke views badhane hain?
When u are there , u feel a kind of pressure from locals like your driver etc to visit such places and it is inconvenient to deny them and u show that you are not like that kattar and can visit Dargah.
Btw I too did not like his visiting Dargah.

Very bad and unfortunate that you did not cover Sanatan mandirs like zyeshta devi, hari parbat, mata kheerbhawani in srinagar. Nor did you talk about the greatest genocide in recent indian history, the pandit genocide , Pandit homes are the monuments of that genocide and are strewn across valley.

What wonderful views of snow covered mountains from Pari Mahal and Chasme Shahi Gardens. The snow caps of the mountains appeared like they were floating in mid air !

Houseboats main aapne jaisa kaha max 1 to 2 days rukh sakte hai.. And usi dauraan floating vegetable market bhi visit kar sakte hai. Heemal hotel ke saamne ke saare houseboats hai wahan aapko 2200 - 3000 around tariffs mil jaate hai. Mere channel par maine houseboats ka video rakh choda hai. Shalimar is No1, Chashmeshahi is No2.. So you covered Chashme Shahi garden is more than sufficient. Finally, snowcap peaks are The Pir Panjals. Yousmarg jyaada log nahi aate coz tourists prefer Sonmarg and Gulmarg if coming for first time.
