when Ziz said nuslocke on the SRS guy, it gave me an idea, he plays softcore, but everytime he dies he has to delete a piece of his gear (he can replace it)
10 years later and I still wish PoE could actually do reflect builds.
Its hilarious but most of my deaths in campaign come from bleeds and they are exactly as Ziz sarcastically shows around the 15:00 Minute mark.
Theoretically, you can just log out from those.

The first person has the evasion mastery for all items needing evasion rating without any on his boots.
i kind of want to make a precise technique flicker strike of power armor stacker with two replica dreamfeathers in ssf just to fuck with him (yes, the build could sustain the power charges)
I have built things like this in pob. I've gotten 600k armor and pretty good damage tbh. Not worth the investment for the precursors. I also could still crit. So not exactly the same.

@Theyflower I don't have nearly enough experience and knowledge for that. I can make builds that can reach maps. Maybe take out the bosses sometimes. But if I couldn't buy gear I'd be boned.

And I also confirmed that wrong belief when I was checking out gcp prices and thought they were unusually high!
Am I the only one who likes the informative aspect more than the roasting? Sometimes the roasts feel forced and in the end, Ziz is trying to help people. Roasting should remain a part of it, but only where it fits and makes sense, not as the main focus/goal.

I kind of play campaign to low maps like that, having previously spent a lot of time in SSF too keep from falling asleep during my x hundredth time through the campaign. Then switch over to a real build when things start getting ugly.
SRS with triad grip? Doesn't the 100% phy to fire gem conversion override this completely?
First guy can't even take suppression from the evasion wheel, because he has armour boots missing out on 15 suppression that only costs 1 skill point for pretty much no reason.

14:52 actually my 12k es RF usually dies in like 5 - 10 seconds if something is dealing insane dmg and is also so fast that i cannot escape with shieldcharge
Another great vid, my death counts are unusually high in Affliction:
- for the bane character 276 (a lot of them where due to the league mechanic, as I started with this and was not good at the mechanic early on)
- for the srs character 170 (mostly since end game and the push above tier 7 maps, have 25 maps left to do and I have completed them all)

the amount of fuckery i have with my mana setup in the toxic rain build.. ive considered coming to your stream for it too, but i eventuelly "solved" it.
sometimes it costs 1 mana, to cast toxic rain. sometimes 3 :')
btw amazing build guide. it was nice to follow, and easy to understand what to do, once you hit those bigger walls in progression (amulet, quiver)
Personally I just use eldritch battery + the belt craft that regens 150 es/second while near a rare or unique as a stopgap for any build with mana issues. Devouring diadem is usually not that expensive after the first week or so and it’s a perfectly good helmet for most builds midgame - but you might be able to just take eldritch battery on the tree, depending on how far out of your way it is - usually pretty accessible for ranger/witch.

Let me help you figure out the fundamentals. Do you have 75 all res but chaos. Do you have spell suppression cap or close to it. Are your flasks rolled and 20% quality with used on full charges.

Meanwhile, me a new player who didn't follow a guide, playing my Juggernaut Molten Strike with 3.5khp, 8k armour and 40k dps at Tier 7 map.. Yeah I have no idea what any of this is but I enjoy the Ziz content.
How do I get in on being roasted/helped?
Super new to this game. Only like 75 hrs in. Kind of followed a guide (templar arc/galv) but not sure if I'm doing it right. Pretty sure my gear so far makes no sense 😅
Most Important things are just all resistance but chaos being capped. If you can get gear with chaos and elemental resistance of your choice even better.
After that flasks are super important to have the right mods on them. Your flasks are like 25% of your defense and movement speed.

I've got my resistances at 56/75/75...chaos is -36. So I guess that's the next goal. Chaos seems difficult to cap :/
Mana is not an issue with my build. So should I run 2 health and 3 utility flasks? Any mods to aim for?

So the main issue im hearing ALOT of is that new players need to learn how to do basic crafting steps to improve or make rares for their characters... (including how to get all the recipes bc in my 500 hours i still havent ever unlocked the "affixes cannot be changed" crafts) im using myself as an example of someone whos played alot but hasnt really actually learned things as much as i just copy+paste builds i dont understand (speaking of, im playing Phox's RF inquisitor this league and am having a blast with it)

Last episode was good builds. These builds this time are so bad it's almost hard to watch. That SRS Guardian could have found upgrades for ever slot just ID'ing shit on the ground.

I'm very vert very new at the game, an im following guides an watching your POE for beginners vid, I'm wondering if an item doesn't have links in it, is there a way to make the gems link?
Fusing orbs, they look like a figure 8. If you don't have any, but you have a load of the jewellers orbs (for changing the number of sockets on an item), you can go to a vendor (can't remember which one, try 'em all) and simply purchase fusings from them for the price of a bunch of jewellers.
Remember though, same as which socket numbers, the more sockets you're trying to make/link the more orbs it will probably take because the chances get smaller and smaller. Adding quality to an item increases the chance a small, but statistically significant amount. Last time I was looking at the estimates, I think it was expected that ON AVERAGE it might take around 1,500 fusings to link all 6 sockets on a 6-socket chest/weapon. I think that number might come down as far as (remembering, this is still averages and you might get very unlucky) maybe like 900-and-something. But it's been a while and I could be mis-remembering that completely. There's been more than one streamer that has spent over 3k fusings and still failed to get their 6-link up and running.
Around Tier 11 or 12 maps you should pick up the crafting recipe to instant-force 6 links, and it costs 1,500 fusing orbs.
So for you four links I suggest using the bench it's always cheaper. 4 socket craft and 4 links or 3 as needed.
Now your chest piece or two handed weapon or bow that needs 6 links. I still suggest for noobs and new exiles to use the bench for 6 socket (300 jewellers) and 6 link (1500 fusing orbs) because this league every time I tried to six link it took me over 2000+ fusings

I would live to see a series that explores builds without complications, like no jewels that have radius buffs or cluster jewels. That way people can have a garenteed build they can branch out from. Would help noobs like me alot i think.

This series is how you know the game is completely catering to the streamers and top 5% of players. Casuals don't know how to craft, and it's far easier to go bewilderingly wrong, than it is to luckily roll it right. The amount of currency you go through when you don't have lucky RNG hits, is nuts. So you end up hitting a wall with a character once you get into yellow maps and that's it. Your character sucks, you can't get enough drops to improve it, and then the league ends and you're like fuck this game.
Then of course, GGG seems to have decided that its servers should run on hopes and dreams and completely borked the game with rendering changes.
lv 21 gem are expensive but you just have to put 6 of them into your weapon swap level them to 20 and vaal orb them
after watching this, I realize I am not that bad of a player haha. hope these people are learning.
wait untill you see my SSF R Scion ... she is using Cyclone + Cast on crit + Reap with two handed sword .. bcs 2 handed swords looks cool .. also i like pain.

Because a 21 early on is easier to get it's a league starter not a über bosser.

I keep telling people... noone listens to me, but i keep telling them... Make a league starter FIRST... then expirament... its way better to expirament when you have a steady build that can farm currency

Man I really wanna throw my RF Inq in this. I too have awakened gems and a cluster jewel setup thanks to some nice drops and a 6 div flip I accidently lucked into but my build still feels pretty squishy. Mapping feels pretty smooth mostly when I don't stand still to read an exarch altar 😂 I can run t16, occasionally juiced with 3.5k to 4k wisps, some of the bosses and rares take ages tho when I do that. I spent the last little bit of my currency on buying some bases to start crafting endgame gear. Got a max armor i84 helmet base, an i84 stygian and a max roll t2 chaos res 5 armor off max roll there pair of gloves. Failed to get anything useful on any of the items after spending 3ish divs on essences. Just not sure what else I can do gear wise. I prolly just suck at the game to be fair 😂

@@Zaalbarjedi I don't want to bother him with specific questions to my situation. He tends to get bombarded with basic questions from people who don't read his guides thoroughly or search the questions on his site.
Ok noob here most everything he's talking about goes over my head. I can finish the campaign have done it a few times. Where can I learn more about gearing? Does he have a decent video on that? I've been following the maxroll guide this season and I think that's a mistake not sure if I bricked my toon at this point.
