"Keep the hole small" watched the entire video. I'm in a pre-beginning stage and just trying to get my ducks in s row before jumping in. Like all the info you share!!!
I remember about two years/three ago I was the proud owner of 4 shares of $10-20 pot stocks and it drove me crazy and it would be $1-3 dollars up or down that day. Now I will be -$600 in the hole in Tesla stock and I just kind of shrug it off. It's all relative I guess :)
Keep the whole small. You are the most real trader I have ever seen. You trade in large size that I usually don’t trade. Normally I trade half your size but I can’t agree more with EVERYTHING you say. Great great points you make.
Really appreciate your transparency. The one thing I learned from you that Jared and Ross do not emphasize is having realistic expectations. To efficiently make $100 on a trade your trade size needs to be $50k. In order to get in and make $50 and get out in a few seconds I usually buy 100 shares of "STOCK" at $280 and when it gets to $280.50 I can get out. So it means I must have account size so that this one trade needs $28,000 by itself. When I tell people who do not trade or do not trade this way they are very surprised. I traded a small account for the first 2 years expecting $200 a day and was getting tore up every time I tried to scale up because I was waiting too long in a position. Thanks! Lesson: To efficiently make $100 on a trade your trade size needs to be $50k And have your finger on the rip chord.

Great advice. So many times I stay in a trade and watch it keep going the wrong way thinking I'm going to be an investor. Then, by the end of the day or the next, I decide that it's time to get out by which time I'm down a lot of money. So, I usually day trade in stocks that I wouldn't mind holding long term in case it goes quickly against me. Such a psychological thing, however.
