The mechanical specifications on the Super Splendor Xtec are similar to the standard version, and this motorcycle, too, uses a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor makes the same 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm as the standard Super Splendor. However, the new Xtec variant is OBD2-A-compliant. The On-board Diagnostics System helps in detecting system failures and indicates faults in the vehicle system. The company claims a fuel economy of 68kmpl.
The hardware comprises a diamond frame, telescopic front forks, and five-step-adjustable twin rear springs. The braking system includes 130mm drum brakes on both wheels on the base model.
