- You never can have too many theme songs (said Alice Margatroid). Alice In Wonderland is another one of my favorite tracks in the series (for one of my favorite characters. I think Alice is very cool!!!).
Touhou 5's soundtrack is nothing less than fantastic and one of the series quintessential soundtracks. It really does feel like the true precursor to the series ultimate game, Touhou 6 Koumakyou ~ EoSD. It's also one of the few Touhou games I actually was able to 1cc. If you can't tell, I love this game.
Also, Yuuka and Mima being playable characters was so cool, and ZUN never brought back Yuuka as a playable character ever again (minus a gimmicky entry that had to have her) 🥲.

Fun fact: Yuuma Toutetsu's theme from Touhou 17.5 not only references some themes in 17 but also for some reason this theme too!
which is... probably not intentional and is just a case of ZUN reusing the motifs with no real purpose. Case in point - Power of Darkness and Crystalized Silver.

@@thesubinion I mean, if some of these things aren't intended reference, then Zun is legit just one of the creators with the most luck I have ever seen. Power of Darkness and Crystalized Silver are both the boss 2-themes of the second game of the respective era of Touhou. Yuuka came back in the fourth windows era-game which is also a phantasmagoria, with her PC98 counterpart coming from TH4 and being last seen in a phantasmagoria-style game.

definitely one of the best PC98 songs. MS is without a doubt my favorite PC98 game (hell, its probably in my top 5 for the franchise) and it’s music is definitely a huge part of my love for it. Alice being my favorite touhou character helps… she’s just cool. Great arrangement, you always do great work!
