My dad loved the movie up. He was always an animation type of guy, but he thought it was top 5 most beautiful movies he's ever watched. He told me it would make him super depressed if our mother passed away before him. He also said it would be unfair to her if he had passed away first.
On the night of 20 September 2014, I was laying next to my father on the hospital bed. He had gone through numerous blood transfusions in attempt to rid the cancer from his skin. We had just finished binging his favorite TV show, Top Gear. Before I head off home, he pulls out his phone and plays this song. With tears running down my cheeks, I looked at my dad, hugged him tightly, and said:
"It's okay. None of this is fair, but it's okay. You were there for all of us, you did your part. You lived your life, and we will keep living ours until we see each other again."
We were held in each other's arms for the next 10 minutes before my dad fell asleep from medication. I took off and went to bed.
21st September 2014, 4AM, my mother wakes me up. Sobbing like there is no tomorrow, and I just knew. Was I sad? Yes. Was I disappointed? No, how could I have been? I was happily depressed. Our dad got taken away from us, but it was not in vain. My family has taken shape today because of who our father was in the past, and we continue to carry his pride.

Well, maybe its busy at the hospital today. She probably just hasn’t had a chance to respond.' But I still sent another text saying, 'I haven't heard from my baby today.' Hours passed & I was working with an attorney in my office when I received a call from your best friend Sandy. I figured she wanted us to go out for dinner that evening & answered her call. She told me that you had passed away in your sleep. Her son found her unresponsive in the morning. I was in shock. I could not move. I wanted to run to the restroom but my legs came out from under me & I just started crying. I couldn't hold it in & could care less what anyone thought. I've never experienced loss like you have, but I have lost very special people. And talking to God helps so much, he understands and would never do anything to hurt you, even though sometimes that's how it feels. He does things we don't understand. My grandfather passed away a month ago due to his second brain stroke. Up was one of his favorite cartoon movies, and he loved watching it with me and my younger sister back then.
Weeks before his sudden death, he told me through our video call that his greatest dream right now, after a long time, was to see his all of his grandchildren graduate. He paused for a second, and shortly after, said that the Lord can take him after that.
I didn't get to have a proper goodbye with my grandfather. My grief felt overwhelming, still does right now, and for a while, I've lost interest in doing most of the things I do.
I can't stop my tears from falling whenever I remember all the good times we spent together, especially that talk we had. School, especially this school year (last year in Junior High), was never that much fun for me, and I'd rather do programming for hours every day. But now, I had more drive and motivation to graduate from school, not only for my future, but also for my grandfather.
All I want is to see him again and give him the warmest hug. But even more than that, I hope he is in paradise now.

My condolences
My grandma (my dad's aunt) died a few years ago. We made her come to our house for taking care of her. We spent very little time together. But we became inseparable and talked a lot. We thought we had all the time in the world, but God took her away from us too early. I didn't cry because I was in shock. But after watching this movie It reminded me of these moments. All he fun stuff we did. After years I finally opened up and cried like a little baby.😢😭
We always learn to appreciate once we lose it.

*I use to watch this everyday but then i stopped at 2014 then I had a best friend named david, he was funny and he was smart and he would always make me laugh, and also last year he died from a kidney failure I miss him, and also this song just reminds me about him because I watched up twice 1 time with just me then the other time with him, rest in peace To him 🙏*

It reminds me of me and my uncle, we would always play together and have fun.
But one day, specifically on one of my family’s bday, he had a heart attack, and the last words he ever said to me is “Hey, have a good day, ill see you soon!”

I cried
In the words of Juice WRLD in the song Graduation "As we go on we remember all the time we spent together" I think of this every day and wish I had spent more time with my dad even tho I was only 6.
But that is the thing about life we can't be looking back all the time we gotta focus on now we can't waste our time killing others and being in a cell. We can't tell others to go away cuz of their ethnicity we can't be fucking up people telling them that their dreams are shit. Everybody is different and 1 moment cannot define your life. It doesn't matter how hard it is every sad story has a happy ending. Life is short and we have to have our main focus on ourselves cuz worrying takes away years of our lives and I wish I didn't have so much anxiety. On our last day, we will know we did it all the way it was supposed to be. God has a plan for everybody. Life is short as I said before and our prime and the best part is childhood. I am not done with mine, next year I will be in high school and I will make sure that those will be the best 4 years of my life
