Full sun in zone 10? Wow! I was told that the plant can only take morning sun (I’m also in Zone 10) I’m happy to see that perhaps there are more options for locations for my plants. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the informative video - didn't realise the importance of soil pH - might explain why I've never had a happy blueberry despite trying a few times! I'm curious whether your "Jelly Bean" variety from your first blueberry video made it through to a second year? Was there a noticeable difference in flavour of the berries? Thanks!

The “Jelly Bean” variety produced some berries. Not nearly as much as the Jewell Southern Highbush. I kept the “Jelly Bean” in that pot until the next spring and it wasn’t looking as good as the Jewell, so I swapped the Jelly Bean out for the Jewell! Not a huge difference of taste between the two. Hope you find some success!

Hello from Portugal! I started mine from seed, and my area is very similar to zone 10, but there is no nursery nor anyone growing blueberries near me, so I don't have that much information sources about some practical stuff of growing in warmer places. I was wondering if you could show us your fertilizing and pruning processes, and some tips and things you've learned about that. Thank you so much! God bless ☺️

Hello. I used Vigoro All Purpose Potting Soil Mix for Indoor or Outdoor Use for Fruits, Flowers, Vegetables and Herbs... Should I start over (I just planted 2 days ago), or can I add some acidic soil to what I have?

You can try, blueberries like to have very good drainage so that is why I add some bark to it. You can add some soil acidifier if you don’t want to redo the potting mix.

@@passionforplants3242 I have branches as my base (I'm just starting out and didn't properly research), so I'm hoping that works for drainage. Thank you for responding so quickly and the added information. I will purchase soul acidfier and see how that fairs for the plant. I didn't have a clue that I would need acidic soil until now, so thank you.

Hi, nice video clip. I plan on buying 1000 blueberry plants in pots this autumn. Your blueberry looks really good, you too 😛 I hope to learn about blueberries as much as I can. I have two books about them.
