I have watched so many interviews with physicians, of all types of specialties and this has been my favorite. He tells you a story or response so authentically. You can always admire someone who's passionate about something, but damn, its great to see a passionate physician and such an honest one too. Thanks for this!
That’s so encouraging to hear! I’m glad I could share some of his passion with you all
He's wise , and by that I mean he knows how to make an authentic but PR interview.
Other young doctors will be less authentic to try to promote themsleves and their career, so they'll rarely talk about mental aspects and very intimiate part of their life because it could scare patients (and colleagues).
Imagine if your doc says he has depression from times to times etc, you'd be scared he's in charge of you.
But him, because he's old and a leader in his department, with a lot of positive feedbacks over the years , he will talk freely about mental struggles, but not too much into details. That's allows him to be more authentic.
BUT, let's be honest docs will never talk about really shameful things / medical errors etc. So back to my point, authentic yes, but PR before all.
ex: he says he never drink and gets full night of sleep before shift. Honestly it may be something desired, but it happens a lot to start a shift tired, or after a college party etc. He needed to say and insist on that because it's PR.
that statement about the features of a child in contrast to adults hit different, i honestly paused the video to think about it and he was indeed right 👏
I could listen to this particular doctor all day. I’d ask him all kinds of in depth questions - thoughts and philosophies about his work and experiences. The court cases he has attended would be fascinating.
The way he talks about nurses 😍 What a great person.
One of the best docs I’ve ever met
Dinner with Jesus ❤️🙌🏽
Read your bible and you can have dinner with him.
I LOVE his answer to the dinner question…THIS is my favorite interview! God Bless you doctor! ❤️
I absolutely love this guy! What an amazing man! And it's refreshing to hear a doctor actually speak honestly about covid. I have been to hospital so many times during the lock down,I actually gave birth in the middle of lock down and the hospitals where absolutely empty! And I know many nurses that where on paid leave or there would be double the amount of nursing staff to patients on the very few wards that where open. That could mean literally 6 patients to 12 nurses.oh and the level of care was awful, especially considering how many where working.
Anyway this doctor is a beautiful soul..xxx
Loved his reaction to pineapple on pizza 😂
Everyone needs a Dr. Wilde in their life.
this man has to be one of the most expiring people I have met. I have always wanted to do something in the medical field with children and he has confirmed my interest in this. He is so smart and I am so grateful to have watched this video!!
You mean “inspiring”??
@@donavanmcelroy6263 yes lmao
What a humbling interview. I love how personal this interview went. Sounds like a conversation with a close family member.. Thank you.
This guy seems so intelligent and down to earth. I love it!
Murphy is shoo cuuutee omg
I really like this interview and doctor. I call for a 2nd interview with this doctor, with a whole new set of questions. With that said, ask your viewers to submit additional questions for him. I myself have a boat load for him. There were many spots in interview where I wish I was present, to chime in and dig deeper/ question deeper and ask additional questions, when certain things came up. 2nd Interview! 👍🏽
Hi, I agree, and what exactly were you curious about? I saw you replied to my comment.
The way the light shown on him at the end was a perfect way to end such an amazing interview
I really enjoyed these interviews. I watched all of the resident physician ones in one day. This is amazing!
This has been my favourite of all. His insights and perspective have been helpful for myself and I'm sure many others too. Thank you ND MD, Thank you Dr. Wilde!
Been waiting for Part ✌🏼 ! Keep it up man!
Hope it lived up to the hype!
This guy is living the life. One he's working in my field of medicine -- emergency medicine. He lives in nature. And he has beautiful cats. This is life.
Do you think pediatric emergency medicine is right for you? Which specialties would you like to see next?
Part 1 of the interview here if you missed it! ua-cam.com/video/k8KBuMswCwI/v-deo.html
family medicine!
Oncologist and its subs specialists
Definitely interested in emergency medicine. I like the rush and the fact you really have to think quickly on your feet.
An amazing interview, great job! :)
thank you so much!
Why he reacted like that to the pineappled pizza 😂. I will forever be mind boggled by people who don’t understand why pineapple belong on pizza
I love his response about children being the way they are suppose to be and adults being overgrown children lol.
is he wrong tho😂there's a reason why he did peds EM
I don't like it because I don't want my pizza being sweet, which the pineapple causes it to be. I'll eat it if its the only pizza available but its my laaast choice lol.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview 😍😍😍
that cat was sooo cuuuuute, OMG

Future PEM Dr.🥼🤩
That’s awesome! PEM is such a fun and rewarding specialty
Does anyone know where I can buy that cup?
ND, you sounded less confident with this interview. This doctor has lot years experience and wonderful person!
Where does he give the answer to the question?
One common thing about these physicians is that almost all of them like to live around trees:)
Lol, that's an interesting observation. Why do you think that is? And the fact that you identified this, is this because YOU like and/ or want to live around, trees too? lol.
How does this have so few likes?
I can relate to this question lol.
chardone & popcorn!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way..........
I was really liking the guy until he said he doesn’t like pineapple on pizza! 🤷🏽♂️ Come on man
Right! Lol
a dessert pizza - ok. A dinner pizza? No pineapple.
Coffee
Ooo he with a black girl!!
no he's not
She's from Afghanistan 🙄
Doesn't matter who it's with
that’s my motto.. understanding things 🫶🏻.
