Hi Alisha. Thank you for posting your video. It does help me to brush up my English. Love from Timor Leste a tiny country which shares borders with Indonesia & Australia. Here portugues is an our official language and Tetum (our lingua franca) as our national language while English is going to be a second language.
I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process and communication skills in English and other languages.😊
I think I can develop a conversation and make myself clear but sometimes I feel a little limited yet 😕 trying to take some tips to have a better development
Its a realy very wonderfull english explanation which made me interested and its so fantastic how teacher alisha is so qualified to make underestand the foreign students how english is spoken.
In an English conversation, I always explain the word I want to say, in any way I can, no matter how bizarre it may be. In the end, the interlocutor helps me to speak in the correct or usual way.
@@YuriJonesLimaNeto-cv6mi You missed a word: "ever," so of course, you couldn't understand the sentence. Let me write the complete sentence again: I have ever heard of it before. Meanwhile, in English, especially in the UK, "never" and "ever" can be used interchangeably.
