For the first time ,it came out just fine,,,and that is a good small knife.
It is a very neat knife. I remember seeing a knife of this size about 20 years ago and it was branded as a browning and I've never seen one since. I was thrilled to find this for such a reasonable price. I also found a benchmade 520 presidio there that I got for $60. It's my favorite pawnshop in Montana and I find something great there every time I visit. The time before that I got a pohl force alpha 2 in d2 steel there for $60 when they were asking $100 for it.
Hang on to that knife bud. Could be worth a bit more than you paid. I’ve got a similar one the Kershaw 2002. It’s a folder lock back but it’s got the same rosewood inlays and is the same color. These knives (or at least mine) seem to be kinda rare. I think they are part of a series called Easy Rider and we’re in production in the 70s and 80s. At least that’s what I heard.
Hey! Looks like a nice knife! Do you know what the steel is? Take care, Irène.
I am not sure on that. There seems to be little info on the net about this knife.
Cool job. Cool using the leather from your daughter. I want to try leather working. Your inspiring me !!!
No time like the present. I was looking up leather working kits on eBay and they're around $40 or so.
