welcome back to another build video, this one is my 2019 can am x3 ds, i did a bed and fender delete along with custom high doors with aluminum skins. 3 piece roof with 18 gauge steel sheets. .120 dom tubing main cage and .095 front and rear tie ins. doors are a mixture of .120 and .095 dom. we removed 3.5 inches from both sides by doing boat sides. i plated the sides with 18 gauge steel and rivited them on for easy removal.

Mister and mrs Hatch much respect I am a carpenter. I do that with wood but what shall I do with steel? Is amazand and You arejust good people It is nice to see A loving family I came from one much respect
I like how you're constantly "thinking outside of the box" when it comes to fabrication!! ZipTie 2.0 is gonna be insane !!
Thank you 🤙🏻👊🏻
@@TheCanAmCrewmight be time to build a rock bouncer
You are the best at building those cages. A true artist with the skills to back it up. Unreal.
🤙🏻 thank you. I appreciate that.
What you do is equal parts art and engineering. Ziptie reborn looks awesome.
See you're selling a lot of axle pullers. I had you to build me 1 a while back. Might have been the first I might have put the idea 💡 in your head lol. Hope the Can Am Crew just keeps growing and growing.
Wow, nice work Jesse.. you are a great engineer. Respect to you and the can am crew.
I had asked you before if you tested the cage design before selling them..... y'all didn't have to go that far! 😂
That's a beef of a cage! Great work!
Glad you're all good!
When I'm thinking you can't get no beter than the last one and y'all do this you guys blow my mind on cages I have no words one day I want you y'all to build me one you guys are freaking awesome thanks again
That is Awesome there is no end to what you can do. Since Sheri’s is New I guess Scott’s is Next.
Zip tie looks great unlike the 3 piece roof and the spikes
True artist! Keep doin work on and off the trail.
Man i wish he would fix that hanging insulation from the ceiling ! LOL
Adds character.
You have vision and the fab skills. Well done bud
Awesome new look great job. Like the idea of the decal
Nice job on ZipTie! Like the hybrid look of plastics in the front and fender/bed delete rear. My machine just asked me for one of those side exhausts now.
You knocked it out of the park Jessie, looking forward to the next video, Thanks again for sharing!!!!
Wow!! Looks and sounds awesome!!
Looks sick. Love it!
Awesome. Really looks sharp!
You guys do a great job love the cage and it sounds sweet

Awesome build. Looks incredible.
That is an awesome build. It looks way better now.
It looks great. Love the mean look it has in the front. Love the color combination. Sounds great.

Absolutely amazing work definitely the best build so far. That exhaust is awesome.
That looks Awesome 👌 👏
Great job 👍🏻
You are an amazing mechanic .much respect im going to meet you
What a build! Looks great. I love how the whole family is involved. Exhaust sounds great as well!
Wow that thing looks amazing. Great work !!
You have such an awesome talent
sick build man looks great!
Ole girl looks wicked! 👍🏻
Love it Jess. The bumblebee lives. Would suggest a silver/gray swoosh under the can am crew logo up to the B pillar, just to aesthetically keep it inline with the front plastics.
Zip Tie looks KILLER. nice job
Thank you 🤙🏻
Eggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggslent cage build ! Thanx for sharing! Y'all Rock!!
Isnt another person I'd want a cage from. Cant wait to see what this month of cages brings :) Big respect to Jesse/The Can Am Crew!
Zip tie 2.0 looks killer! The jstar fab exhaust is very nice.
Looking great. You do good looking work.
Thank you.
Every time y’all build a cage I think it’s the best one yet….but this cage build is so Bad A?? !!! Just WOW !!!
Awesome video and thank you for taking us along on this build!!!
Good Job Crew👊🏼👊🏼
Thanks Jacky 🤙🏻👊🏻
OMG Dude you knocked out of the park with this build. Those doors are sweet. Sharp ride.

Looks like a pair of sunglasses in the front lol.
Looks great. Give it hell at windrock!
💯💯
Love the build. If I had any questions it’d be with the stabby/pointy doors.
Bad ass Jesse! Love how it turned out 💪🏼
Thank you 👊🏻👊🏻
Do great work.
2.0 look’s 🔥
Loving the content
Awesome. Thank you
BADASS! love the bed and rear fender delete bro ill be locking something in with you guys real soon! 😎
🤙🏻👊🏻 awesome.
Love the low brow man!! I pmd ya. Another good job dude. I still haven't seen aftermath rippin yet......
Aftermath will be in the next video.
Damn, that's awesome. the doors are by far my favorite/ It's hard to make a door that fits the machine but you nailed it. But, I'll be honest I'd have to pull those CT raceworks lowers and paint match them. beadlocks and exaust are sweet and I really like how you did the roof.
Thank you, ya the old yellow is a different shade than the new.
Looks Awesome would love to have you build a cage for my Turbo S Velocity
I love the build. My only recommendation is add roof grab handles on the roof bars
The middle roof bars
Why would you add a grab handle to the roof bar? For this build The passenger has handles and my hands are on the steering wheel.
looks great, i have the same exhaust
I love the exhaust. Especially around 7-8000 Rpm’s haha
She flows
Home run !!
👊🏻👊🏻
You guys do great work. I would love to have a cage built by y’all one day. Thanks for the tablet and the axle puller. I love em! What days you gonna be at windrock. It would be awesome to get out there and watch you shred. Keep killin’ it.
Awesome thanks. We just got back yesterday.
Sweet
Looks great Jesse, like it better than aftermath, but I’ve always been partial to ziptie, love the tail lights, love the sound, wondering how much head room you have
Thank you, same head room as the previous cage. About 4 inches above my head.
Iet's gooooooooo 💯👍😎
🤙🏻👊🏻
I’m suprised super atv hasn’t sponsored the channel yet and have you selling there parts too .
That looks absolutely amazing! How do you come up with these ideas?
It just comes to me haha.
🐝🐝🐝💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽👊🏽
How do you vent ur garage in the winter and not have it get too humid? I have that prob now when working on my RS1. I do 3D modeling in NURBS. Do you accept design ideas to make a cage for my RS1?
Ya absolutely! I have an exhaust fan in my wall I turn on when it gets Smokey or hot.
Are you gonna throw away that psycho cooler? 😁
🤣 no, sheri is running it on her machine now.
lol, she crazy. @@TheCanAmCrew
where did you get the door hinges for the cage?
We buy our stuff from utv distribution.
where are you keeping spare axles?
We keep them in Sheri’s bag. She runs the cooler and a bag and I have a bag of power tools and recovery gear.
Is the rear shock bent. It looked like it in the video right rear
I’m not sure what you mean.
Sorry I think a fell asleep in the middle of that comment LOL
@@X3OUTSIDERS haha. All good. The springs may be tilted but the shock isn’t bent.
Curious as to why on zip tie and the other one you just built. You was going for the idea of making them able to take multiple rolls and flip back over and do it again. But you didn’t add a A Pilar support is there a reason for this
For racing I can see the a pillar down bar being crucial but for what we do it would just be in the way and in our sight line as we always look out and watch out tires. I’m not against adding it to a customers build if that’s what they want but for ours it’s not necessary. The cages are strong enough to hold up to any rollover we will put it through. Now for racing that’s a different story. They are going 75mph and can roll violently 10 times. We don’t put ourselves in those scenarios.
@@TheCanAmCrew i do the same kinda riding you guys do and was considering adding it to my cage. Which mine is all .120 1 3/4 dom with gussets and instrtion bars too but I seen the video of the fella flopping his rzr on Facebook the other day and couldn’t help but think it would have saved that cage
@REBELRIDERS I think I saw that same video. No cage stock or build should fold like his did. That was a shame to see a cage do that.
Looks great young man.❤
Where do you guys get your bungs for the cages?
Utv distribution
@@TheCanAmCrewthank you!
Hows the puncture resistant's on the zillas?
We have a combined 12,000 miles on zillas and have only punctured one and that was me driving into a tree branch haha. We have had great luck with them
@@TheCanAmCrew nice. I'll have to give them a try
SAWEET
🤙🏻👊🏻
were you guys located
Hollidaysburg Pennsylvania
Explain that shop. Doors up high and one even has a rotary phone next to it.
We explained it in a previous video. It has a wild story. I can’t remember offhand what build video it was but it was a month or 2 ago maybe.
@@TheCanAmCrew where’s the super fans at when you need them? Come guys, tell me which video
pleas start selling pre bent cages
I can but shipping kills me. You’d end up paying double the cost. Last time I shipped a cage it cost 1100.00. I just can’t compete with the bigger company’s when it comes to shipping rates.
understand that, but it would be nice for us diy guys with welding skills , love the work keep it .@@TheCanAmCrew
The box that you threw at your wife is that it ..I need get one that fits a talon
When you rolled
Not trying to say you're a box thrower
@@bjayers1606 that was my cooler that came flying off. She had it on her x3 now
Or do you mean something else? I was thinking you meant as I was rolling the box that went flying off at her.
Man, wish i had your skills and your shop setup
True artist! Keep doin work on and off the trail.
