😊 Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, topping up an EZ-Link card using a foreign VISA credit card isn’t currently supported. But no worries, here are three solutions for you: 1⃣ Cash Top-Up: You can top up your EZ-Link card with cash at any MRT station or 7-Eleven store (except those at Shell stations). It’s quick and easy! 2⃣ Use 7-Eleven: Just bring your EZ-Link card to any 7-Eleven in Singapore, and they can help you top it up with cash. 3⃣ Tap Directly with Your Visa/Mastercard: Skip the EZ-Link card altogether! Simply tap your foreign VISA or Mastercard directly at MRT gates or buses. Do note there’s a small fee of S$0.60 (Singapore dollars) per day of use. I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions or need more tips while traveling around Singapore! 🚆✨
So for tourist pass for one day end when the last transportation operating time? Like when you bought it at 21.00pm, and the bus stop operating at 23.00pm, it's over for one day? Or it's ended by 21.00pm in the next day?
hi hi, thanks for asking. If your 1st usage is at 21.00pm and the bus stop operating at 23.00pm, its consider as one day. :) its base on the public transport service for that day. Hope this helps.
Presently at Singapore one thing is certain do not and I repeat do not top up at 7/11 as they deduct 0.60 cents and MRT does not. Also you do not require to maintain a 3 $ minimum balance on Ez my current bal is less than 2.5 and traveling
It depends on the age of your son, for non-Singaporean children above 7, they will have to pay the standard adult fare. Thus, you need to get one ezlink card for your son too. :) Hope this helps.
@@NBSTravel I don't mind paying the adult fare since he is 8, was wondering if we can share the card so that it is easier to track and top up , like swiping twice and both enter
In Singapore, using an EZ-Link card to pay for MRT fares will generally be cheaper than using a Visa credit card, as there are no additional fees associated with the EZ-Link card while using a foreign-issued credit card may incur a small surcharge per transaction. However, if you are using a locally issued contactless Visa card, the fare should be the same as using an EZ-Link card.
Hi, For Ez Link Card, you can visit any TransitLink Ticket Office with your card and passport. If the balance is less than $100 and EZ-Reload is not activated, you can get an immediate cash refund.
@@rcmanization It will be less than $15, the average from one end to the other is about $ 2, I would suggest load it with about $ 15, also please do not load at 7/11 as there is a charge do it from the MRT
Hi your vedio is very immresive. Thanks for valuable info. We're 2adults+1kid(5year's) travelling for 12days. Which travel card(STP/EZlink) do u suggest and how many cards do u suggest here?
Hi, for that they have 2 criteria, children above 0.9m in height and below 7 years old can apply for a Child Concession Card at SimplyGo Ticket Office to travel for free on basic bus and train services. Children below 0.9m in height accompanied by a fare-paying commuter can automatically travel for free. :) Hope this helps.

@@NBSTravelthank you , is it not possible to swipe card twice for both of us ? It would be easier to track balance

Thanks a lot for your guidance and the video was really useful
@@ravinm you can't share a card, as our card system works differently. :)
Is the cost to use the MRT cheaper with the EZ-Link card vs scanning my Visa credit card for payment?

How to withdraw remaining balance in ez link card once travel is done?

Best is EZ link as you will not require more that 15 $ in a 5 day staying
so if i travel from city hall to chinatown, and little india, and to the gardens by the bay ..... it won't cost me more than $15 during my three days?
