Bookaboo and the Beaver Trap Sketch

The Beaver Trap. Lots of Children’s TV Series Hero’s have a rival or baddy and Bookaboo’s was Bad Billy Bob Beaver who was after eating Bookaboo’s lovely Maple Wood drumsticks. Created like all Bookaboo’s Puppets by the brilliant Puppet Heap of NJ, USA.
It’s of course always important that bad intentions result in even the shows Hero's getting their comeuppance and this was the always the case but with a huge dollop of fun. This Beaver Trap Sketch is just one example.

Kids TV Series Bookaboo, currently available on Amazon Prime, features several Dog Puppets in a Band out on the Road. It's a vehicle for a Celebrity Guest to share a Children's Storybook with Bookaboo and the child viewers. It's a high quality production with an excellent Production Team and high values throughout. Generous Talent to the brim.
As the Puppeteer and voice of Bookaboo my focus was on engaging the child viewer with the Stories and in Books generally.
If the show also engages adults parents and carers? That’s a bonus. A lot of work as with everything else was put into the show's pre-amble Comedy Style Sketches. They were a joy to create and deserve to be enjoyed more widely and appreciated for the breadth of imagination, entertainment value and puppeteering problem solving employed.
