I loved the first two books of Shackle’s the Last War but the third book, Until the Last, weighed me down with battle fatigue, I have soft dnf’d it at 50%. This seems to be a reoccuring problem! Same issue with Fury of the Gods! Also most of the characters I loved in the first two books of the Bloodsworn lost all their substance and became cardboard slice & dice robots with the exception of one.😢
