Thank you Leah!!!!! I knew I could count on you! Finally, someone who is informed to see Arishem the Judge in the trailer and instantly and correctly identify him, without having to go look it up! Marvel Studios officially confirmed all the way back in 2019 that the four Celestials to show up would be Arishem the Judge, Jemiah the Analyzer, Nezarr the Calculator, and Hargen the Measurer (Maybe the Forth Host is about to begin? That's a chilling thought...), but I guess most people haven't paid attention because the number of reactors I've heard shout "Galactus!" or "Eson!" when Arishem appears makes me sad lol
Ben Davis was also the cinematographer for Guardians of the Galaxy, Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel

Some backup for plot: every planet in Marvel has a celestial egg inside it. Normally those eggs not hatch unless....u got it, emergence. Emergence is the hatching of those eggs causing planet to destroy. And it seems Deviants want that egg to hatch, but Eternals want either to stop it cause they love humans or they will find a way so that egg also gets hatched and humanity(Earth) is also saved. So, Hulk's blip caused every one to return which gave necessary energy to that egg to mature and that's emergence

I have a theory, Eternal/Deviant Thanos story and relation to Jolie’s character Athena? could be a big reveal and emotional moment that she / they should’ve gotten involved before the first snap and stop him.

I know everyone's most excited for No Way Home, and I'm excited for it too, but this is what I've been waiting for. I don't think a lot of fans realize this is gonna rupture their cranium in the theaters. lol The Emergence has to do with Celestials. Eternals will have to make a choice to follow their instructions or defy the Celestials to save humanity. And the subplots are juicy. I don't think people are ready for the heart this movie has.
This is the first time in a trailer reaction I have only stared at anybody's eyes full time.
Gilgamesh, Thena, *Ikaris,* Ajak, Phastos, Makkari, Sersi, Kingo & Sprite. I'm referring to them as "The Eternal Knights." They look like Knights to me.

I suspect this might be the movie that either name drops or involves a quick cameo of the coming appearance of the FF. If Thanos was the primary villain that was threaded throughout the Marvel franchises, i think Galactus would be the next logical one. And with the Eternals involved, it just makes sense the FF and Galactus would be involved.
It's one of those off title movies that mainstream MCU fans know little about. Even though Marvel has a lot of well known characters to put their (Disney's) weight behind, they really like to play up the lesser known storylines. That being said, they really casted some heavy hitters for this one in the hopes it will play out well to audiences much like the Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm going in with not too many expectations, just for it to tie into the overall MCU story, like WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki did! Shang-Chi is also not a well known character, but completing the Mandarin storyline from the Iron Man movies, and introducing true Bruce Lee like martial arts into the MCU is it's major goal :-)

Loved the reaction - all of your reactions seem so sincere and genuine and its easy to love that you love what I love. I have to say, though - I've read all the comics many times and the only people I recognize in that trailer from them is Kit Harrington and Gemma Chan (Black Knight and Sersi). Is this another instance like when they changed Norse Gods (the inherent culture of literally the whitest of white people) into PoC to get in a little corporate virtue-signaling? Honestly, the cast looks absolutely fantastic, they just don't look anything like the Eternals.

The Hulk snap created the amount of energy needed for the new Celestial to rise. I feel them saying the Celestial ordered them not to interfere is a misderect. I bet it's Angelina Jolie's character secretly working with that Deviant Kro at the end (in the comics her character loves him).
Also, this movie could be a good way to introduce the X-Men by blowing up that egg and the cosmic energy spreading all over earth and triggering the X gene in people that have it in their DNA

Yes…Tiamut the Dreamer is embedded in the earth in his Celestial egg…wen Arishem shows up too Judge I believe that will b the decision too wake him n destroy the planet of jus let him sleep…I believe the “Emergence” also is wat triggers the mutant gene that the Celestials implanted in humans during their experiments
