I'm building my own site and tried that trick and low and behold I was able to pull up pages that I thought I couldn't get into if I wasn't logged in. Any content that you don't want someone to have access to should be removed from your Google site map. Depending on the SEO plug-in that you're using to generate your Google site map, there should be an option in there to not have certain content in that site map.
