Wow! What a week! Took us a while to get this one out to you all, as there was so much to edit. All the crew did an epic job coming together to give some of our favorite repeat clients a once-in-a-lifetime charter in the Virgin Islands. Thanks for watching. See you again on Sunday. 🛥🥂
I've been to The Baths, been exactly where you are!!! Cheers Captain!
I Hope the guests where up to your standards !!!
Amazing vlog! Q: how do charters work from a guest point of view? Do they hire the boat all inclusive of meals and drinks? If they choose to eat out, do the ship pay as they’re not eating aboard? New to your channel and clearly have no idea how chartering a yacht works!
I have a question. When you are on charter. Guests pay for fuel usage for travel(Obviously). Who pays for fuel usage in a short/extended mayday search? or search and rescue operation? is that considered a cost of doing business on the seas for the ship? cost of charter? 50/50?
(Edit) obv. A 15 min trip would end up being charged to the charter group. But what if you end up spending 2-5 hours of fuel burn motoring along or searching?
One of the VERY BEST superyacht videos. I've been interested in superyachts for 30 or 40 years and this is hugely more interesting than most such videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
It really is one of the best charter videos love you guys so much

Hey Paul! Great job playing front and center on the camera this episode. Love the caves and find them like that. You're going to need to let Blair give you the camera more often. It's a great change of perspective, especially when you're doing things that are not directly ship related. Love it! Like you guys are having a great time with the guests. Can't wait for the next episode!
yes i totally agree with this one!, great job guys!
38 minute Loon video, Merry Christmas to us! Very cool video. Loved the search and rescue, Thanksgiving, fresh fish, and Necker Island. This one has it all. Also really awesome you guys get a few well deserved days off!
Just like one of his other videos we all liked, Blair seems to have the knack to report and film real time events in a manner that is calm, informative and gets the vibe of what is happening in a captivating manner. Saw that with the hunt for the missing diver.
Blair, you did such an amazing job this time with content, editing, and production. Loon is fortunate to have you, and the guests have the most epic home movies to relive their trip again and again.
So beautiful! Thank You for the Views! God Bless You All and Safe Seas.
loon cutting through the waves, what a view!
I like how there's been a few videos now where the point is made that Bjorn was there but did not contribute. Great comradery!
I appreciate the crew's tips not being announced.
Thank you very much!
Captain Paul getting T-bagged by a Lemur…epically baller! 😆
so much better than main stream TV love captain Paul & Chef Nina absolute professionals. 👌😍
I couldn’t help but giggle watching Chris maneuver with the additional weights while hiking, you guys are something else! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous journeys with us all, hard to believe this is called a job! And such a wonderful ending to the lost diver, you guys are amazing, excellent seamen with huge, caring hearts! ❤️
Captain Paul, PLEASE, PLEASE take a video the next time you all are in St Maarten of the planes taking off and landing at Princess Juliana airport for your viewers to witness, I’ve been present many times on land watching them, it’s truly a terrifying, unbelievable scene (especially when those massive air busses land and depart)! Thank you again, I’m so envious of your gorgeous travels! ❤️
Capt. Paul and Loon Crew this was an exciting awesome video. So glad this charter went extremely well. So, cool you met S.R.B. I have been told by other's, well family members who've met him he is as his family great realistic people even though they're they are in a different class than the majority. Yea the BVI's is a magical place. Thankfully not jet ski's which is a great thing.
Those under water caves seemed like they'd be a blast to dive into.
Looking forward to next video. Capt. Paul, Blair. Nina, Sean and CREW have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years. Hope you had a great time staying on Necker Island.
Blair and Paul slayed it here, such a great video. No surprise the guests had fun when the crew felt this comfortable.
OMG, we had such a blast filming this video! Blair and Paul were on fire and it's awesome that you noticed. Thanks for watching! 🛥️🥂
I thoroughly enjoyed your BVI charter video. We used to charter bareboat sailboats throughout the Caribbean for vacations in my younger years. The BVI were always a favorite and I enjoyed seeing once again many of the places we visited. Thanks for a wonderful trip down memory lane.
Loon's bridge view looks like it was designed for a 5"6" captain!
CO Davie has no problems seeing out the windows 😂
So Nina report on bridge for new assignment!
I got so immersed in this video. The drone footage and maps put me right there with all of you.
That was just a blast Guys can’t believe you get to do that for a living, you are blessed and thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks for explaining the light pole! I've been wondering.
Great assist on the search and rescue job well done.
You guys are amazing. So glad you rescued that person.
once again a fabulous episode from the crew on Loon and Captain Paul. Thanks you all so much. Merry Christmas to you all.
Blair and Paul (and the rest of the crew) knocked it out the park again with this one. Thank you all!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our video. 🛥️🥂
Awesome to visit Sir Richard’s Island vicariously ! Thank you
should rename this one "captain paul having the time of his life"
hahaha we seriously thought about that 😂
Captain Paul living his best life.
Loon crushing it as always!
Wow. I live in the Caribbean but feel insanely jealous of these videos. Keep up the good work.
watched every minute of it. What a fun crew.
Sir Richards island looks amazing
Happy holidays, guys! Stay safe!! 🎉🎉🎉
Absolutely love this. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻😊👏🏻🏝️
A week to remember! Great charter💪
Paul, another excellent vlog. Love the banter that your crew have with each other. A real team effort for the Vlog..Amazing and privileged to share the Loon journeys.
Amazing video as always guys!! Love the longer style videos. For a moment Capt. Paul reminded me of Bear Grylls diving in the coves 🤿🤣
You guys had me smiling. Great fun and enjoyable vid. Getting better and better!
Go Loon great action filled vlog…guests must be happy….keep it up guys….from Nord Norge
Well done. It’s crazy how Paul is captain and fully engaged in the excursions. Hard work for sure! Bummed you didn’t share the tip, I like that part.
Pretty sure it was a very generous tip to the point of best kept between the guests and the crew.
Beautiful, thanks for taking us along.
I’ve been to The Baths at Devil’s Bay, thank you for bringing back such a fun and beautiful memory!
EPIC post with this one right here. The crew and Captain 👍🏼👍🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼💥💥
Happy Holidays and such a good video!!! I hope to Charter Loon someday.
Love seeing these, thanks so much 😊
So nice to see awesome places in the BVI. I visited Tortola with Royal Caribbean in Feb 2020 and didn't find it very nice. I visited St. Thomas, USVI when I was in the Navy in 2002 and liked it. Wish I saw more of both. Also want to see how the Turkey pizzas turned out that Nina made. Also that tip must have been epic if you can't mention it on camera!! No matter you all deserved it!!
Wow! In my opinion the most interesting video you have made. Thanks for sharing all your adventures.
That was a great one..thanks for being a witness🎉❤😊
This is probably my most favorite part of the Caribbean from a scenic standpoint (culturally my favorite is St. Martin), wish there would have been more footage of The Baths, absolutely stunning! As always, well done and a great job on the Mayday assist!!!
Thanks for the great comment as always Bubba. This video was almost 40mins we would have enliven to include more everything but had to trim it down somewhere 🛥️🥂
Probably best yet for Capt Paul, Blair and crew. Thanks.
Another great video, another great edit, thanks Balir for putting the effort in! Really enjoy living vicariously through you guys, great job!
Such a fun video 🤩
Paul going into that Air Pocket!! Madness.
Yeah screw that! If be taking a STAS unit before I go into any of those.
Maybe he did on his waist.
Wishing the Loon crew a merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎉
What a treat this video was - thank you
Best week ever !!!
Absolutely loved this episode! ❤
Paul is hilarious, love the vlog style from him
I would like to say to all the crew of Loon a Happy and Merry Christmas and a Great New Year from Australia Best Yachting Channel on social media
So cool you got to go on Nekker island.
Love watching the videos , want to spend my 50th over there 😎🇦🇺😎
The cave was amazing. Thanks.
Paul big slip up, "Old Looney"
Yaaae imagine not a lot of skippers would do that hike. Great Content 🙂
haha shes a good old girl.. 🛥️🥂
Thank God the person is okay 👍 ❤
Captain you certainly know how to show a good time
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed the video and had a good time. Keep watching for more exciting content! 🛥️🥂
Thank you for taking us snorkelling Capt Paul, that was awesome! (Should take us scuba diving with you too ;) )
It coming soon 🛥️🥂
Hey, is Paul becoming the new presenter for the activities ?
Bloody brilliant, I think even if I had a boat I would still like to charter with you guys, you're all such great people.
Happy holidays to all of you, have a great time.
Hey! I’m just wondering how much rest does the Crew get? Y’all are so busy! It’s great! ❤
Outstanding once again. Those caves would freak me out with the limited head room. Wish I could afford the tip, never mind the charter cost 🤣
It's throughly awesome ❤❤❤
Very cool video!!! Great work and full day!!
Top 👏👏👏
Great video. Will have to try the hike. Spent our first night of honeymoon at Beef island in a hurricane. Oct 10,1984. Merry Christmas to you all.
Such a fun and awesome crew! 😀
Great video! Happy holidays to all.
Nicely done..thanks for sharing,,😊
I can't imagine trying to swim in those turkey costumes, you'd be so heavy!
top notch video
I live on the west coast of Central Florida and when Irma hit us, we lost power for 10 days and there were boats that had gotten sucked out of the gulf because all the water left. That was the weirdest thing I ever saw. The water went away in the bays. Where we once had 10 feet of water, there was inches or nothing. Some spota known to be 30 to,40 feet deep, were 1-2 feet deep and because the tides were so drastic, lots of lines got broken and as the water rushed in then went out again, the boats were pulled out to the gulf.
Loved the hiking
Great video
Love the animals on the island
Amazing fish from locals as you you said it can’t get any better. What a life😂
Literally a better animal documentary than on BBC 🤣😂
Thank you!
Looks like one of carnival mega ships got to see m/y loon
If they know how famous loon is
What a week, If only....
I'm sure someone has asked but when is the merch coming out??
I enjoyed the video. Thanks
Sage mountain over on Tortola is a great hike, just be careful not to eat the magic mushrooms or you may not make it down! :)
What a great video 🤙🏻
Thank you for the great videos showing professional crews in the Yachting world ! I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, lived on a boat in Pier 66 for many years, and got to know many in the industry back in the 1990s. Trash shows like " Below Deck " should be taken off the air as they are really a train wreck and disgrace to the industry and very disrespectful for all the hard working people that make their living in the industry.
Thank you.. We couldn't agree more. We'll be back in FLL in April keep an eye out for us 🛥🥂
What an epic one 🎉
Richard Branson is British. We put all our most precious items in our loos! Paintings, ornaments, awards, memories; they're all in there.
Who needs a safe when you have a toilet, right? 😂
We were waiting to hear the tip…
Great videos!
Trip looked awesome! I think I want to apply to work with loon!
I'm sure you've answered this, but what is Loon's draft? I thought the Caribbean was rather shallow.
Love your weekly posts, however this November episode it is hard to tell who is who 🙂
Cool vid!
Still catching up with all your videos. You touched upon the light mast at the front, but what does the black mesh ball that is mounted on a pole at the bow do when at anchor?
You also have the chase boat (HCB in Caribbean) but then you pull out a large boat from foredeck and then also RHIB. Then you have the square looking boat in the other side of the hull. It's clear what the HCB and Anvera are for with moving guests (and fishing in the Caribbean). But what are the roles the X-Boat? and RHIB? With your chase boat, do you ever offer towed paragliding?
09:57 YeeeeHa! Man, that's quite a swell for the general conditions, the BVIs are like that, eh? That must have given the guests a bit of a thrill especially since you were pushing it to get to a search area.
A Thanksgiving pizza party, way to push Nina's skillset guests! Very good of you to challenge her a bit though I'm certain she was more than up to it.
Paul, you know you should have a spare-air with you doing explores like that, just in case. I'm certain you have some on board so use them please mate.
Necker has the coolest goats ever (I breed show goats as a hobby)! As much as I love Makepeace (Nina and Paul will know) Necker leaves it for dead. Got a quick glimpse there and I think a little bit of voices, pretty sure I know who your guests were and if I'm correct, I know why you love having them on board so much. So good to see Sir Richard asked you back so the crew could have a break on his little bit of paradise, that's the kind of guy he is. IIRC Craig and he are friends so I'm sure that helped.
What an epic charter that was, thanks for having us along and thanks to the guests for allowing just a little more access than is usual, it made the coverage so much better.
OK, I'm off to Thursday Island and the Straights for my usual New Year's break so I'll see you all again in 2024, I wish Loon, her owner and her crew a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. Best wishes to you all.
You said it… not 365 degrees. Lol. That was my comment in the past. Love this team. And I know all of you enjoy the workout.
haha yea we had quite a few people call us out for that one 🤦♂️ Thanks for following our journey 🛥️🥂
Wow😎👍
Paul, It drives me nuts that you have to crouch down to look out the windows on the bridge. Some 5’6” interior designer thought it would look nice to have that big wooden feature above the windows, never thinking that it’s important to actually be able to see where you’re going.
