@@Mentality_Greatnesshe had that posh bit of stuff a while ago, think he fobbed her off
As a United fan, the players absolutely deserve this. Half of them can’t be bothered and it’s about time they’re given a reality check. If they don’t perform, they’ll be shown the door.
The problem is they likely don’t care if they’re sold. They probably want to be
They have crazy wages, some are content with swallowing up their pride and hear criticism for the salary, even barcelona had this problem where they struggled to ofload players even when they clearly emphasized to them that they are not wanted.
You can’t sell all of them. Plus, the club is desperate to sign quality players. What are they coming for - money or the project?
you gotta pay them first all their contractual dues first before showing them the door...just saying
What about INEOS? They wanted him to come in now then don’t get him a single player. Ratcliffe just had a meeting with Amorim to discuss targets. Why didn’t he do this a month ago?
Buvey likening the Amorim at United situation to Guardiola coming in at city is the most out of touch comparison I think I may have ever heard.
I wish UA-cam could include an AI feature where it can identify when Buvey is talking and mute itself.
Corny
HAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Buvey is trying so hard to be a contrarian.
I'm not 100% sure. I think he is half right. Players will check out, are on extremely inflated wages and coast for the rest of the season. The issue is the type of players & personalities they have. Think coming out like that appeases the fans, but what will make actual change is the players on the pitch.
@@kix5775 "coast for the rest of the season"... Man Utd are 13th, how could it get worse this season? They're not gonna get relegated, before luckily for them Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton are even worse. It doesn't matter if the players check out, most of them need to be ejected from the club anyway
Waaaaay to hard.
@@fordy423 that’s my point lol. It can get worse, but not as bad as getting relegated. The fans aren’t gonna kick up a fuss because they’re willing to give the manager time & wait til the end of the season to start again.
As Buvey said, it’s been like this for YEARS for Utd
I mean it might just be for views, if everyone agreed the video would last 2 minutes
The players deserve this!! Nice to have a manager call it out

Buvey slagging off Napoli shows his ball knowledge is 💩. They are top of the Serie A and favourites to win it with Conte.
Nobody cares what happens in italy or germany and very little about spain leagues. They are total clownshows and horrid leagues where nobody can name who plays in starting eleven for none of their top 4 teams
Serie A is wank though 40 year old young and Gumby smalling looked class there
@@sloppygoo They had good spells over 4 years ago. Young now plays for everton and smalling doesn't even get near the Roma first team anymore and their closer to midtable than the top. Talking absolute bollocks
@@wd2918 they were beyond finished as starters in England and went there and were stars of the league and won the league 😂😂 no ucls in 20+ years but sure fantastic league if you’re living in the 90s still
@ they weren’t stars of the league though 😂😂 shows you don’t watch the league. Last time I checked as well Inter ditched young years ago and now he plays regularly for Everton in prem lol. Smalling was a regular for mourinho a few years ago yet he now doesn’t even make a match day squad. Talking more waffle
It's not Kamikaze stuff, if these players were real men they'd understand the criticism and take it on board, improve themselves instead of getting all upset, that's what real men and women do, they look where they went wrong FIRST.
So Ange and Amorim just get to blame the players and pretend they're above it all.
How convenient for them.
@luckyspurs ange has to go I agree, but this is not Amorims squad, half the team cannot play his system, and he has taken responsibility because he's a real man
I stand with Rúben! 💯💯 Buvey has shitty takes, he took Sporting from a place where fans were raiding the locker rooms to a top-quality team - Yes, the level is different, but he has a reputation. Cristiano Ronaldo calls this man "The Poet" because he knows how to use words to get a reaction and has been playing the media (public, private and fan-based) like puppets on a string since he became Red.
Amorim deserves strong support from the ownership-that is our biggest problem. You're going nowhere if you don't have ownership supporting your manager's vision to bring in the vital pieces to make a competitive team. We're literally in a place where fans won't protest because the ones who had season tickets are locked into Old Trafford because the prices are so high - why would you pay it and not show up? - and that tells you everything about the intentions of the ownership, it's not about the club, it's about the business.
Man u fans delight in telling everyone they are the biggest club in the world or uk now according to turnover or attendances or shirt sales or fans across the world.
@redmed10 And your point being? This is no different to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich etc. Other sports include; The LA Lakers, The Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees etc etc.
With serial success comes long term relativity. The brand becomes bigger than the club - it's as harmful as it is a benefit.
The older I get the more I can’t stand buvey. What is he talking about
So you are becoming more intolerant and bitter as you age basically. Very wise…

Buvey talking about credit before coming to United he was unbeaten in all competitions and this team got a manager sacked. He's got proven success this season these players don't so he has every right to call them out
Sorry, but nothing gets proven in Portugal, Holland or Scotland.
Or AVB, De Boer and Ange are superstar managers too.
@@luckyspursNothing gets proven or disproven in 2 months either. Especially halfway through the season with a squad the manager didn’t assemble.

@@luckyspursso Slot was proven before he joined liverpool, wasnt he? Amorim needs profiles that fits in his system which is unique and then he will cook
@ My point isn't that these managers can't be a success in the Premier League. They absolutely can, hugely.
It's that you're completely unproven at Premier League level, when you arrive. You can't be poor in the Premier League and yet still refer to what they did in those countries like it supersedes all it.
Very little done in a 2 or 3 team league like Scotland, Holland or Portugal, proves anything in a league with at least 17 really strongly built teams and constant quality opposition.
This video was good up until 2:40
I would say until 3:08. Once Buvey started being a contrarian it messed it up.
If United were to buy Garnacho from Napoli, they’d quote £80-100m. United paid £85m for Antony and his stats were nothing compared to Garnacho’s & United are letting him go for £40m. Shambolic
I think it's fair to say you got your pants firmly pulled down with the Anthony deal though. Garnacho has talent but he often goes missing in games too and he does not suit that 3-4-3 system. Given where United are as well £50 million is a far more realistic evaluation.
INEOS have already made some blunders in their short term running United but selling Alejandro Garnacho for £60m or less would be the biggest of all so far. Those clubs absolutely take a piss at us when we go ask for a player and they should realize by now how much attacking players improve when they go from 20 to 23 year old.
Garnacho is 20. He has 13 G/A in ~18 90s while playing in the toughest League in the world. He should be going for £80-85M and also any replacement we get for Garnacho will be so expensive.
- Marmoush is 25 and going for £80m. When he was 20, he had ZERO G/A in senior club football.
- Doku went for £70/80m. When he was 20, he had 10 G/A all season.
- When Vinicius Jr was 20, he scored 10 G/A all season. I don’t have to tell you how much Vinicius will go for now.
This list is long. If Garnacho was playing at Napoli or Dortmund, they would be asking 100m for him.
Stats/form dont necessarily equate to transfer value. Garnacho has limited talent. Even though his numbers are better than prime Hazard nobody would say hes a better player than hazard.
@@JUNAID187only his numbers are nowhere near prime Hazard
@@JUNAID187his talent is still better than most and he’s already got a good resume
Maresca defending Sanchez performances clearly is man management. Every player needs different management styles and obviously feels he needs the arm around the shoulder and other players like madueke can take the hard stance
Exactly. Just rory trying to be anti chelsea again so he can fit in with the overlap gang of gary neville and jamie carragher
It’s absolutely crazy how united fans aren’t protesting about the sale of Garnacho & maybe Kobie. Sir Jim was meant to ‘put the Manchester back in united’ and has gone against the clubs values. It goes against the definition of the united way. Bobby Charlton would be turning over in his grave. How do you let a 20 year old first team academy product leave for about £40m when if United were to buy him from a Napoli, they’d be quoting £80-100m. Sir Jim has allowed the glazers to stay at united and has come in with no money and is having to sell academy players and raise ticket prices cause he has no cash
"Claiming you're the worst united team ever, where can you go from there?"

What amorim said was absolutely required for this bunch of underperforming prats
Prats😂😂😂
not really..
THis would only be true if we see a reaction from then..
And pointing it out is going to help his players, how?
Easy way to know Buvey is full of hot air? Foden was 16 and not in the City squad in Pep's first season so how would he have been saying he is better than Messi? He was brough into the squad the next season, which they won.
Firstly, thats not what Amorim said. He said we are BEING the worst team. Amorim was 100% correct. And I'd hazard a guess that INEOS support what he is saying, because they are saying the same too with their actions.
Burn it all down, Adam. I fully back you on this. Then we rebuild.
Beuvey saying he doesn't have the experience to say that is laughable. I've heard shopkeepers and unemployed say the same, they have 0 experience managing a football team and they are 100% right in saying it too.
Sorry Buvey, bit of a dumb thing to say.... Stevie Wonder could see Amorium doing the right thing here
The issue isn’t as simple as some want to make it, but it fundamentally boils down to this:
Manchester United, over the last 5+ years, have been plagued by a lack of consistency in player profiles. In modern football, having a mismatched squad is a recipe for underperformance-it simply doesn’t work anymore.
Compare This to City and Liverpool
Manchester City: Since Pep Guardiola’s arrival, at least 80% of their squad has been built around possession and positional play. Pep’s philosophy is so rigidly applied that he even removed Joe Hart-despite fan backlash-because Hart didn’t fit his style. City’s success isn’t just down to individual brilliance; it’s about building a team with players who all fit a clear system.
Liverpool: Similarly, Jürgen Klopp’s team operated with at least 80% of players suited to his gegenpressing system. Players weren’t selected for their star power but for their ability to suit his style. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson were given full attacking freedom, while Roberto Firmino was never expected to score 30+ goals a season. His role was to create space and facilitate Salah and Mané. That’s why modern fans misunderstand roles like his-or Kai Havertz’s-because they measure them by traditional metrics such as being associated to perform like Aguero or Henry. Liverpool’s midfield, with the likes of Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum, and Oxlade-Chamberlain, wasn’t full of 10-goal-a-season players. It was built on intensity, energy, and adaptability. When Thiago joined, Klopp needed time to adjust him because the system wasn’t built around a player like him. The cohesion and similarity in profiles made Liverpool effective for a reason.
The United Problem
United have consistently recruited players with conflicting profiles.
Direct/Physical/Counter-Attacking Based Players:
• Fred
• McTominay (thriving at Napoli for a reason)
• Wan-Bissaka
• Rashford
• Bailly
• Matic
• Lindelöf
• Dan James
Technical/Positional/Possession-Based Players:
• Pogba
• Lingard
• Fernandes
• Mata
• Shaw
• Van de Beek
• Sancho
• Gomes
• Greenwood
The result? A squad with no coherent identity. How can a team maximise its potential when it’s built with players suited to completely different philosophies? Greenwood, Gomes, and Sancho are doing way better because they fit a more technical, possession-based system, but they were surrounded by players geared for counter-attacking football with managers not having a clue. Similarly, players like Fred and McTominay showed glimpses of their abilities in certain contexts but were out of place in a team trying to transition to a possession-based approach etc.
The Managerial Merry-Go-Round United’s managerial appointments made this problem worse. OGS, Mourinho, and even ETH have all inherited squads with mismatched profiles. Ten Hag, for example, was hired to replicate his Ajax model, but he quickly realised United lacked the players to implement it. Instead of overhauling the squad with a clear vision, poor recruitment and inconsistent philosophies led to more confusion. His transfer decisions, compounded the issue because they didn’t fully align with the squad’s needs or his supposed system.
The Path Forward Is where Amorim is right: United must suffer to rebuild. The club needs time to recruit players suited to a specific philosophy and fully commit to it. Once this happens, the squad will have the foundation to thrive again. Until then, the constant clash of profiles, philosophies, and short-term fixes will keep the club in limbo.
No one seems to remember Amorim did want the job mid-season , he want the summer get some of his transfers in and have a pre- season he was told it’s now or never then what ? 6 weeks late sorry no money in January . It’s a nightmare for him . Anyone starting to think the fans have been fooled by Sir Jim ?
He took it mid season though
@@JoasozeBecause INEOS told him he wouldn’t have the chance to take it in the summer, meaning they would have gone for another permanent manager. It was his only chance to take it, and he did.
You misspelled he didn’t want it in the summer
@@JoasozeI think he meant he didn’t want it in the summer
Why are they waffling about the owners not reinvesting the money made if they sell Garnacho? All they ever do is spend money. Onana, De ligt, Martinez, yoro, mazroui, zirkzee, hojlund, Malacia, varane, Casemiro, ugarte and that’s just the last few years. This narrative around uniteds owners not investing in the club is absolutely absurd and needs to be dropped
What are you talking about?
The Glazer's haven't invested into the club. Allowing Manchester United to spend it's own revenue is not the same as investing money into the club like City's owners have. The amount the Glazer's have taken out of Manchester United stands at more than £1.6 billion. It's not a narrative, it's a fact.
@ it absolutely is a narrative just to excuse their mediocrity as a club because their recruitment & scouting department is terrible and every manager they hire can’t hack it. Liverpool’s owners don’t invest their own money in, the club runs itself & look at their success in the last decade. So the glazers not pumping their own money in from their own pocket is irrelevant when they’re still spending hundreds of millions every season on players
The amount Rory just attacks Hojlund is insane, sure he hasnt been good this season, but he played pretty well last season for a new striker to the league. We all know strikers get better with age, and United should have bought someone to start over him so all the pressure wouldnt be on him. He has also showed he has great, clinical finishing in crucial moments, but he must improve his movement and positioning

Buvey, don’t bring up Pep. Pep has never managed a side even half this bad. He only takes jobs where the roster is already top of the table, he doesn’t do renovation projects
Carragher and Petit on Sky Sports were laughable saying the players need good words to build confidence according to them. What you mean like when ETH praised them every game and they rewarded him by continuing to play horrific and threw him under the bus?
Where’s that Fulham fan that said Liverpool won’t get top 4 at the start of the season 😂
Buvey is half right - MUFC finances are an absolute mess and they simply can’t afford to replace more than 3/4 players at very most in the summer - this is after even shifting Rashford and Casemiro because they will have to supplement wages to get them to leave. Painful couple of years ahead for them.
It’s really strange but I think I agree with Buvey, Rory and Adam. I think it’s refreshing and good to see a manager telling people what he genuinely thinks but I also think it’s a bold and potentially fatal move.
These lot literally contradict themselves within a matter of minutes. Spent 9minutes saying Amorim shouldn’t have pour fuel on the flames by throwing his players under the bus, but then say maresca is wrong for sticking up for his GK sanchez 😂🤦🏻♂️
The media complaining at Amorim for what he said makes me think they’re not happy cause that’s their job to slate the club 😅
Buvey you are being dishonest. You have called this group of players the worst crop of United players multiple times on this show but when Amorim says the same thing, then it’s too far?!?! Yeaaa right.
Buvey is right. Klopp knew from day 1 that he wants to replace the likes of Mignolet, Moreno, Benteke, Sakho, Lovren, Clyne etc but he didn't make a statement like this, instead went all the way to the Europa final.
Amorim cannot replace 12-15 players in one window, so he will have to work with a lot of them for at least 1-2 more seasons.
Amorim’s style is different he wants to make a ruckus to send a message to the board
As an arsenal fan and man utd hater; Amorim was 100% right and his attitude will eventually fix man utd from the banter years.
His philosophy and style of play is definitely good enough and his man management isnt sycophantic like the rest have been. Hes the man for the job.
They have relegated 5 times - this aint close to their worst ever
Ruben Amorim is absolutely spot on. He went on a rage in the dressing room from all accounts. He blew his top at the press conference because he's engaged in damage limitation. He is a true gentleman and does not deserve the treatment both the fans and he have received from them. If he has spent hours training and coaching them and they have deliberately done the exact opposite of what he has told them to do, he is within his rights to tell them whatever he likes. The administration and the players can either take it or leave it. Keep it up Ruben!
Its not just how bad man united really is, its about how other teams who were normally mid table caught up with them and how much mid table teams really improved
Adaptability is important if you inherit a team that's not yours and can't play in your style, a good manager finds a way to use what he has till he can get what he wants but this is like a one trick pony it seems and if that systems gets founds out he's back to these results
Jamie Carragher played in the Premier League for 17 years from 1996-2013. He did not win a single Premier League trophy.
I think Amorim is trying to get a reaction. He’s tried everything in training, in meetings and we’re seeing and he’s seeing that nothing is working so he’s trying everything he can
12:21 Adam's right here about the Garnacho transfer being a PSR move to bring in money for transfers. Sir Jim, despite his shortcomings, did buy his stake in United because he wants to see the club succeed and if the only way he can do that is by selling to buy then he's going to go with that (the recent Garnacho, Mainoo and Rashford rumours make this obvious). Rory just isn't aware of this and assumes its for greed.
Buvey is the living embodiment of a tabloid newspaper.
I think they could have let Van Nistelrooy have the interim job until the end of the season (was already around and has history with the club...was steadying things a bit). You could then bring Amorim in when the summer rolls round and things have stabilised. Given the tactical shifts and players required by Amorim's methods, he needs a bit of time and space to implement them properly (preseason and a transfer window would help with this). With the current situation, he was brought into a fractured dressing room with bad form and there's limited scope to replace players midseason. It feels like too brutal of a shift and a mountain for Amorin to implement his style properly. I suppose the one benefit with the current situation is he'll have most of the season to suss the players out and club out, but most of these players will be driven down in price (so hard to sell on for any useful profit) and fewer good players will want to come into the dumpster fire in the summer. It feels very similar to when Rangnick was at United. I'll be honest, it's been fun to watch the drama from the outside. HA. Cheers boys. #Amorin'sAtTheWheel
First time I’m seeing this channel and I’m immediately repulsed by this guy who’s opposite just for the sake of being opposite.
I saw Amorim’s face after the Brighton game and he genuinely looked like he wanted to hit one of the players. I think he’s mad because he saw the same team beat Man city and Arsenal, and then they go and play so bad against Southampton and Brighton. The players choose when they want to play and Amorims not having any of that and I don’t even think he cares if he get sacked because he’s not changing his system to make the players happy.
The objective is for Amorim is to calm down concentrate on the Job in hand by keeping the players onside so we can get through the season & progress towards next season's champions league, any unsettling is down to Amorim, so he has to be careful!
The Damage has already been done in December but by end of May we want Top half & champions league spot!
Keep it in the family!
Amorim would have to be the second coming of Christ to get this United side anywhere near a CL spot, that's not even a remotely achievable target.
@Jim90117 We still have Trophies to play for, do you?
Buveys argument is based on the idea that people just believe what the manager says in interviews and aren't looking at the sub text - ultimately it assumes that players and fans fans are stupid.
Buvey just needs his mouth sewn shut. He genuinely adds NOTHING, just trying to be different, half wind-up, half contrarian.
It starts with a C
As a liverpool fan, Amorim’s handling it well and im scary for man utd future cause they have a manager that’s serious about his job
“I think Amorim is a very good coach. I’m fully behind him. Nothing about him makes me doubt him”.
They said the same about Eth and Ole. Lmao.
I'm noticing that the only people you have a problem with what Ruben said is non Manchester United supporters. Because we don't have a problem with what he said because we are shit. And, let the open heart surgery BEGIN!! If he loses players. Maaaaan so be it. We dont want the mediocrety anymore.
Saying Amorim has no credit at the bank because he comes from Portugal to United is beyond laughable.
Its been well over a decade since United were last relevant in England let alone Europe, and considering the disastrous situation they're in they're incredibly lucky to land someone like him and he does come not just with credit at the bank but a lot of hype.
I love how the same people always look to spin anything United related into a negative. Just like Carragher, his life revolves around spinning any situation into a negative for Utd. Rent free 😂 Hated, adored, never ignored
They’re in a dire situation. Loads of deadwood and no money. Selling Garnacho for a cut price and repeated beat downs is exactly what happens when you’re reluctant to sack a manager who has pretty much brought u into financial ruin. Props to ETH and his excellent decision making. Swapping CR7 for Weghorst was actually defended😂😂
Adam is the only one talking sense here. He takes his bias out of his analysis.
He said "we are BEING the worst team in history" which is very different from Rory's interpretation about worst crop of players. We sometimes pin managers speaking in their second language down too much on what they say. He's just calling it the way the table has it. United right now are making themselves the worst United team in decades. Face a fact before you can change it.
The reason that Man Utd have to think about selling Garnacho and Mainoo is not because psr MAKES clubs sell academy players, it's because they need to recoup some of the money they have WASTED on players like Antony, Mount and Hoijlund (the list goes on), and selling academy players is the most efficient way to make profit.
Everything Adam said about Amorim, I heard him say about TenHag and Ole before that... But As Buvey Mentioned it earlier, Ragniok said the same thing about the United Side that is 3 years ago. and all United Fans went against him
"all United Fans went against him" - Think you have a case of selective memory.
Why does Buvey squint whenever he talks directly to the camera?
Mad how the only people who find this a problem is non United supporters, why is it relevant to them?
You can tell Buvy is a city fan, he hasn't a clue 😂
Buvey is shitting on United litterally every stream but when their manager does that its wrong? Its actually refreshing and if any of the players can't take it then they should not be at the club
Buvey is not old enough to understand this type of discussion. Rory & Adam's maturity of life is quite evident.
The manager needs to remember he’s part of the team that he’s calling the worst ever. They’ve got worse since he joined. As for smashing up a TV, I’m sure the staff who have been told they’re being made redundant to save a few quid are pleased to see a man on hundreds of grand a week smashing things up and being praised for it.
Do not allow Man City fan to analyze Man United. He is a joker. He has no idea what he was saying.
People seem to forget he took over a bad mentally weak team in 12th place what did everyone expect him to do win every game and get us in the top 4 he's had no transfers hardly anytime to train his new system but it's individual errors that are costing us games not the system
They deserve to hear it and I’m so happy he said it, I don’t care what a rival fan or pundit thinks they don’t want man back on top anyway
It’s only other fans who have a problem with Amorim. Us United fans appreciate his emotion and realism.
Imagine Klopp going in to Liverpool and saying 'This is the worst Liverpool team in history'. He would have been crucified. Instead he said 'We need to turn doubters into believers'. Far better.
Difference is that united squad has been hated for a decade
Good job that scenario never happened to Klopp then, isn't it.
Buvey is so clueless mate😂

How things have changed since Evra's quote "Men vs Kids". These players are affraid to play in front of their supporter. They are kids. No balls
Manchester United had a manager to come in and stake the claim of: "I'm the boss!" His name was José Mourinho... They sacked him. If Manchester United had backed José and let him do what was needed. Manchester United would have been back by now.
Rory's "greed" comment is so ignorant. Ratcliffe/INEOS are not involved with United to make money. We have about £5m available to spend according to PSR currently. If there was no PSR they'd be splashing cash like crazy. We have to sell to be able to spend any serious money. So if you got £50m for Garnacho now they'd be able to spend 4-5 times that and stay within PSR.
He said "we are being the worst team in history" which is true, cause they lost 7 games in 12
Rory, Mourinho didn’t have to join a poor squad at not quite the beginning of the season. You’re right not homie;)
it would be a good tactic if united weren't hands tied by PSR. they cannot transform this squad quickly, so risking alienation is a huge gamble
I hate man united but how is buvey saying that the manager can’t call them the worst man united team ever? Call a spade a spade lad they’re shit and they’re grown men not babies.
everyone saying EtH is at fault for all of the signings doesn't sit well. The club have a scouting department which they could've listened to. the club didnt have to give EtH as much power as they did. they didn't have to spend as much money of those players as they did. This is the club getting away with horrible decision making and palming it on to EtH. This squad is on the board, not him.
United could still get decent enough money for Lindelof, Maguire, Casemiro, Rashford, Garnacho and Zirkzee and Amorim can use those funds to buy young hungry players. I feel United will have to go through 2 years of pain to move forward.
You know what is so funny, we spent years blaming the owners, using them as a scape goat for all our issues. 12 months on from new ownership, we are the worst Man U squad ever and the ownership isn’t mentioned🤣 fickle fans, looking for excuses. we just suck and our signings have been rubbish
If a rival manager had said this United fans would be all over it, talking about how that manager is “losing it” and trying to deflect blame from themselves
Those players have turned Ruben into “Golden Gordon” from Ripping Yarns
He said it to players in the dressing room! So for me I can come out and say what he likes
This isn’t the worst United team ever at all. Not even close. Look at how many full internationals there are in the squad. It has a lot of talent. Amorim has to own up to his shortcomings. I agree it’s a bit imbalanced and not suited to how he played with Sporting but he’s being paid the big bucks to make it work with a fairly talented squad.
He’s just making these sweeping statements to mask his own inability to make a top 6 team even play top 10 football. And there’s this online United army that’s falling bait for this nonsense
Exactly 👍
Mid-table teams often sell their up and coming stars in order to make key signings that improve the overall squad. Manchester United are a mid-table team.
Utd have had disciplinarian managers before in Jose & Ten Hag, yet they're expecting different results with Amorim.
This is all on the players and the management who brought them in and ruined the culture.
If ineos sack this manager, they are officially terrible owners and have to sell the club
This is different though
Ten hag wasn’t a disciplinarian and mourinho was toxic
@Deathmare235 yeh, ur right. Ten Hag didn't kick out Ronaldo, Sancho, or fine certain players who arrived late for team meetings. Jose said Pogba was toxic ,Rashford is 💩
@@y2k42y2k42 some people don't do their research clearly
It's class seeing Manchester's second team getting stuffed week-in and week-out.
It’s clear to me that the players just don’t suit Amorim’s style so i say give him a couple summers and see what happens cus he hasn’t had chance to sign his own players yet. It’s like Slot came in to a team that played a similar style to his style already and he had players who suited his style more than Klopps in a way like Gravenberch, Curtis and half our forwards are performing better than last season. Amorim has come into a team with no players he likes really and he’s just surviving until he can make his signings and granted they could end up bad but as a rival fan i think amorim could do an arsenal esc transformation in the coming years
Amorim said he is the head coach of the worst performing Manchester United ever. How can he say that and keep his job?
Today Dortmund sacked their manager after a run of three domestic defeats to start 2025 left them 10th in the Bundesliga, seven points outside the top four and in danger of failing to secure Champions League qualification next season.
Amorim has won just 11 points from 11 PL games.
At the presser Amorim said he is the worst manager in the history of Manchester United.
How long should Amorim last at United if results do not improve?
It’s basic man management to protect your players in public after losses and to keep them grounded in public after wins.
No one is doubting whether Amorim is right with his statement, the issue is saying it for everyone to hear.
And that’s exactly what Maresca is doing with Sanchez, I’m sure he knows Sanchez isn’t good enough but in interviews the right thing to do is to protect him to maintain his confidence.
You are probably one of the only people in football who think this. United need radical change. It won’t come without outing the players. Plus the full quote was we are playing like the worst team in Manchester United history. Learn to not take clickbait titles to heart yeah mate
@CombatMediaa I’m not, as I’ve already seen several people hold the same belief. Sensational quotes in the media are not gonna radically change Manchester United’s fortunes.
Spot on
@CombatMediaa Publicly outing players is an extremely controversial thing to do and pretty much always a big sign of being out of your depth or pressure between management and board.
The only people that think it’s a good idea are fans because they are emotional. It’s generally a terrible idea to increase tension in times of trouble.
@@Sahota2002you are definitely in a very small minority. One of the only people is a stretch by me. But we will see when Amorim is in 5 years he’s a top manager. Why keep protecting useless overpaid players. Drastic change will only happen when he’s aloud to get rid of the rotten overplayed lazy players.
United forgetting this was the norm for them in the 80s. They’ve also being in division 2 for a number of years. Probably not even in the top 10 worst United teams ever
Selling Garnacho isn't just about pure profit, and I hate people making it all about that.
He is a pure winger, like Rashy, and doesn't fit this system. Keeping him means shoehorning him as a 10, and he clearly isn't a 10, probably will never be. So it's better for both parties.
We have been crying out for bad transfer decisions for years, and now complaining when they are trying to build the team TO FIT THE SYSTEM.
He’s young though surely you could mould him. You have to at least try given his potential before binning him.
@@henrykearns4041 That's the thing though, you can't. Moulding a player into something needs the basic attributes for that position, the rest can be taught. He can be moulded into a very good winger, he has those attributes, but unfortunately we probably won't need one under Amorim.
Imagine we try to "mould" Mainoo into a CF, won't happen no matter how talented he is.
@ but that’s a much more drastic transformation
Hilarious stuff. ‘United need to stop accepting mediocrity’ then proceed to call Garnacho ‘terrific’ and ‘fantastic’😂😂😂😂
