@ryankovatch, I found it easier to push the pins down, up under into the holes. I used a rag because I didn’t have gloves so I wouldn’t get pinched. Use your body weight when pushing down on the to pin.

@@kassandraRodriguez-pl6lm this was super helpful info, thanks! I thought mine was malformed or something, I could not get the pins into the holes. But using a rag and pushing down with a lot of force worked. Not as easy as in the video, haha.

I used a wrench to lift the bar up and drop into the hole, not easy, keeping my body and hands away from the rack to avoid injury.

Works on my 2008 corolla with a spoiler. Some of the weight does press down on the spoiler, but hey it works.

I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...
