Welp time to voice my opinion, because why not?
With the Graphics portion, I agree. The graphics in this show are wildly different to their other project, also very shiny. 10/10
I also agree that the comedy is much different, as well as good. Also you saying SMG4 styled jokes brought some memories for me, making remember when SMG4 was better. 10/10
I agree, the characters are really good, and their characters also seem to be connected to their bodies as well, and they're so expressive and also funny. 10/10
With the style, the thing is, this matches how the story is meant to be set up, it's meant to seem colorful and cheerful, but you can see how bad it really is through the cracks with the glitchy characters and the abstracted. 8/10
Now for the lore, I will say this, the lore is deep, I can feel it, and see it. I already have a few theories (which I won't be sharing here) and this lore is pretty good. 10/10
For the pacing, what do you expect? It's the Pilot, they can't go super fast or super slow or even stay in the middle, they have to get people hooked while also making the character interactions make sense and do some world building so it doesn't get confusing for the viewer, this requires fast and slow pacing. 8/10
With the animation, of course it's smooth, it's trying to be cartoony and they also are testing their animators at the same time. With the glitchy stuff, I'll give it a pass since there's lore. 7/10
Overall: About a 9/10 for me, was really enjoyable for me to theorize and just watch. (Remember, this is MY opinion)
