Jah greetings reggae massive.all the way from babylon Oklahoma.this Rico I..I'm a purito Rican afro.born jamaican Queens JA.NEW YORK.that's where I discovered reggae music.was just a youth growing up.I would walk the yard me live.I would here rastaman play music from music box.saleing arts and insent on the st.when come a pond a dreadlocks man.I here I shot the sheriff.which I knew as eirk camption.I ask the dread,I know that song.but it was a different singer.rasta man tell me it was BOB MARLEY that singing.I was blown away into the irie vibes I was feeling.the rest is history.I been born and adopted to jah music.the year 1979.since then I been a faithful fan of jah music.I would buy lps all the time.my family just didn't understand.never had I man.to them reggae was just another bag.as bob would say.never would my mother look down on rastaman in the hood we live.just walk and say hey.we all moved as one in those days back then.weed a burn.my big brother share his smoke with me.by watching big brother record his salsa and soul music.I fast learn d how to record tapes.which I still have.didn't know all the artist then.only mr.marley.first lp was Bob's rastaman vibebrastion.then I learn more.yellow man eek-a-mouse dennis brown don carlos burning spear.was the big stuff the white man of the music store back then.I enjoy having a spliff and recording.I would mixs the artist songs.are make the best of.60 and 90 min.tapes.after awhile.I start making a few bucks on my tapes.just like the rasta man on the st.I would lay down a towel.and show case my lps.but never sale the lp.many have tried.but the tapes 60 min.10 &90 min.20.yo this day.2021.I still surport reggae music.just take a chance on the CD.knowing the artist now.sometimes not to many hits to my likening.sometimes just one hit or two.but I was a collector of reggae.I now have only 600 CD.from ska,rock study,roots,dub.dancehall.my best is roots music.all these different groups.some you never even heard off.to this day.I still discoverer old reggae.and to me old time reggae is still kicking irie.no disrespect to the new jamaican artist.but yard music must live.I was to many shows.and I just love the vibes of jah children dance and rock and groove to dub wise.loversrock.there has been a music lessons that jah has took me in to the love of jah rastafari I.🔯I listen to the words.live upright.and share.I'm thankful to farI for teaching me through the reggae music.my head not lock up natty.but my heart is.my heart is AFRICA.and my father being a afro.purito Rican.makes me a black man.my roots is zion.the father land.as Peter tosh would sings.no matter where you come from.as long as your a black man.your an African.I never Bern to JAMAICA.I would love to visit yard.cause if you know your reggae.one would know all the best real reggae come from yard.I'm poor.but rich in spirit.I may not be able to visit sunsplash.and dancehall is the thing of the pass.but I still love the the 12' dub plate.WOW!!!what a music.so when I here all these different selectors and dj play on the enter net.I say big up to all them.some good some not so good.but the yard music of the 70s.will always remain king.thank all jamaicans in respect and love.for teaching I&I.I will always have love for my people as I do for my purito Rican people.I love reggae like purito Ricans love salsa music.I know this wss long words.but when ever do I get to tell somebody or the world how the greatest music on earth changed my life.jah music shows me how to love.and love everyone.dj.thank you for sharing your collection.niceness every time. an jamaican youth in jamdown all over the yard ghetto.please stop the blood killing.gun killing is hurting the culture.instead have a spliff.respect to all jamaican.and jah people around the world.remember if jah can call a purito Rican.he can call you.keep jah first,and the rest will follow.JHA LOVE EVERYONE.Rico I..🔯
