I love y'all commitment to the Vlog game!!! Babe going to Starbucks cause y'all don't have internet at home so we can have our vlogs on time!!! I would have understood if y'all took a week off to unpack and settle in, get your internet installed and whatnot but I really appreciate the level of dedication to your viewers!!! It hasn't gone unnoticed. Gabe congrats on getting the kitchen organized, it looks wonderful! Regarding the couch, maybe you could re-upholster the current couch with a new fabric colour, maybe taupe, beige or teal (if you wanna be bold!) They said Verizon was out when they first moved in and said it would done in couple days. It is not their fault or neglect. Also, the selling couple of the house did they have problems with Internet? If they did they should have told you. Thanks for getting blog up Babe as this is your business and maybe let Verizon know that, too!
The best piece of advice my husband and I got when we bought our house was to remember that you have time to decorate. Don't feel rushed and wait for sales.

It does look exactly the same on camera. It's not the end of the world though. All they need is some nice really big throw pillows and that will change the look a lot.

Yes I agree. Perhaps because they don't have a vision for the whole space yet, but the color is a good neutral base to build on. Whatever you choose to do Gabe, that makes you feel satisfied though!
Was thinking maybe Chad can take the gray couches down to the mancave and you can get the blue couch that you liked? Just a suggestion, but congrats to you'll, so awesome to own a home and decorate. Just got my home in January and I'm still doing little things here and there. Got a great deal on a floor sample area rug 5'x8' that was under a table sample brand new, no one even walked on it (original price $600, I got it for $80!) at Ashley Furniture. Take your time and make it your own.
Chad as a viewer, I just want to say thank you for going to Starbucks just so you can upload the vlogs. And Gabe, no matter if you have your scarf on or not, your lip gloss be poppin'. I completely feel you. My husband wonders why I moisturize my lips with something before I go to bed.

Everyone told me and my husband to live in our house for a year before we started trying to fill it up. I will say that was some good advise - that I SHOULD HAVE taken! FFWD----> credit card at it's limit later. LOL Two couches, grandfather clock, area rugs, 3 beds, and two dogs later. All in all, still the happiest time of our lives. I know you're glad to be putting things away! Have fun decorating, but take your time. You'll have a lifetime to do it in. #werushedit

I like how babe is so positive constantly despite at the end of this vlog how Gabe kept 'complaining' venting about what was unsatisfying. Lol I laugh at how people get a big beautiful home then 'complain' about what they don't like or what they're rushing to 'update' bc they gotta fill up their big new house with more 'stuff'...
