Done with such ease & precision! You (guys) move your 'shovel' around like moving ZITI with a fork on a dinner plate. Show your kids all the HOMEWORK 'dad' has to do 'on site' to make it right. Your pencil & paper is "orange paint" on the ground w/rulers! Obvious, you've done many of these. Nice that you get your "decompression" taken out on the old tank and compaction of the soil. 'Nice-a-Nice' indeed & Thanks! Sonny

I like how you dug out for the tank. I like digging the half of the hole that's fartherest away from me first so I dont have to reach across the entire hole to get down to grade. With a smaller machine like mine it's just easier to do it that way. Good job. Stay safe Boss.

    Hi Mike!
When I have to do projects like this....my approach is :
I scratch the gras as thin as I can and that gets disposed....If you burry the big gras chunks, they will rotten away and you will have settlements....
    2. my idea of digging those pits is that I first dig out the sides...( as you started) so your bucket stays in place and you do not have to press your bucket to the side wall....then I excavte the middle section...
BTW...I have not seen any compacting equipment on this project so far....Do you think that it is enough to slam it down with the bucket??
You can see the result on the end of your dipper...lol
    Just my 2 cents.....
    Greetings from Germany!

Very interesting. I haven’t seen one like this!! Thanks for showing us!
All of the farm equipment I had was supplied with a whisk broom like you have. I was a stickler about clean equipment. That dirt gets in the pedals (I believed) and starts issues. If you take care of that and keep them clean outside when you have time, grease them every time you use the machine, they will be taken care of (generally) when they are being used!
    Good habits.

Man, that looked like fun.... in a mayhem, massacre, onslaught, attack, demolition, destruction, damaging sort of way. If they made video games that were half as satisfying people would be glued to them all day! I used to play Tank Battle on my Atari. Those tanks shot back at me. And yet, it wasn’t half as much fun... as watching you conquer that poopy slurry box!
Was curious... what did it do to you? Was it damaged, and needed to be put out of its misery? Did it have the wrong elevation? Was it under capacity to carry on against the stress of modern poop conditions? Surely, there was something about it that caused you to wreak such havoc???
Such fun... and some people call that work!!!

Man your work is outstanding !!!! quick ? we just built a custom home had a 1250 tank installed to D box out to 4 75 ft lines in ez flow. i noticed that our D box isnt really that level, the square concrete top is above grade which i like that i can check those flow adjuster things, etc Is it crucial its totally level?

The D-Box was dead nuts level And is going to be buried by 14 in of soil this is a raised bed system everything gets covered.. stay tuned

@@DIRT-BOSS thx man. I was kinda asking about mine I just had installed. Our d box is above grade, exposed. I hear not to seal the concrete lid but was wondering if it had to be spot on level? Ours isn't.

@@tommycarney513 lol sorry about that I read the comment fast it doesn't have to be dead level that's why those speed dialers are in there but you just don't want it super wacky.. It should be covered up though with soil
