Enjoyed this presentation. However, I must ask how does one reconcile the location of Stone Mountain Park which is a Confederate Memorial Park which symbolisizes everything antithetical to people of color .

As a native of Stone Mountain, I think it's important to remember that there was a history of Stone Mountain before it was vandalized by Confederate sympathizers. Stone Mountain has a beautiful natural history as a rock that emerged from the ground through centuries of erosion, but for Cherokee and Creek people, it was also a meeting ground between their two territories. Native Americans have been displaced time and time again in this country. I ask how does one reconcile with any part of it? It's because at the end of the day it's still our home.
