Pharita had already hung out with Lisa earlier. I think because at that point she was the only Thai trainee they connected her with Lisa to make her more comfortable. They have been seen out shopping and been seen at a restaurant with both of their mums. So at least YG was nice with that.

Chiquita and Ahyeon are my bias. Chiquita is just so charismatic and stands out. Its proving so in their videos so far. She is cute and funny.
Asa is just a beast at rapping and a perfectionist. She has shown how awesome she is as well in videos. She is so sweet.

About Chiquita, what YG mean is:
He choose her to be part of Babymonster evaluation project after 3 months she trained under YG as a trainee instead of choosing a trainee that have been long trained around 5-6 years.

even tho it popped on quickly, Asa was our secret Ace for a while. Obviously her dance skills are amazing and her rapping is unmatched (some ppl think she be THE rapper of 5th gen), but shes also a really really good singer and when she pulled that out everyone was a little shocked in the best way. Also her lyricism is praised throughout the show, and it’s so good that she actually received writing and composing credits on Batter Up, which is almost unheard of from a trainee/rookie, ESPECIALLY from YG, as they don’t really let members write for their groups too often. She also just kinda has It Girl energy (a little it girl trio with Ahyeon and Pharita) and like charisma so shes just great

FYI when YG trainees are signed they live in the company dorm which is located in the YG building, and they get a weekly stipend for meals. They do not have to pay for the board and meals until they debut, at that time it is taken out in weekly amounts from the money they make as idols. BLACKPINK did this, although after they debuted they were moved into a four-bedroom apartment in a nearby luxury high rise located close to the YG building. Nowadays the BLACKPINK members have their own apartments but still keep the apartment in case they have a project.
