My aunt Irene had a gold one that she bought new. It had a factory 6 pac & my aunt had a lead foot! It was fun riding with her. Thanks for jogging my memory ☺
Few car companies could put together an automobile like Pontiac. No car has ever made me feel the same after driving one of these. A friend had one in high school and it felt as big as a Cadillac but quicker than alot of smaller cars. And more comfortable than cars that were fancier. Even with posi-trac it would burn the tires off as long as you wanted.....lol. What a great road hog. We had alot of fun in that car. IMO GM made a fatal error cancelling the Pontiacs. Unforgettable.
A cool disposable income individual would place fender skirts in storage and turn whitewalls inside for the ultimate street image. Also proper conversion to four speed.Thankfully stock master cylinder still present.
My 1st "gas-guzzler" was a 1968 Bonneville with an 'updated' 389 ( 428HO) with a 4bbl ; an output of 370hp @ 429 ft/lbs of torque.....these were amazing vehicles. What is the price tag on this one ?? It is a true beauty.
I love this car! If only i could buy it!

I always loved these......the design OF the front end with the " GTO " style turn signal/parking lights & the soft-fast & cushy ride.
Fantastic colors

My dad had a 65 Star Chief in this same color. Wish I could get this one! 👍🏼

Beautiful example of Pontiac. Back in the day, 389cid 4bbl was a beast. Imagine in a lighter "goat"?
