It's more possible than ppl think. The vegan diet has kicked in, he was sick for over a month with a basic cold and barely recovered, all thanks to plant eating propaganda. I'd assume we'll see him noticably sluggish against Neil and probably some loss in power as well. It's only going to take one shot for Neil to change the fight, Garry is gonna need 20 unanswered strikes to take Neil out.

All the sudden Ian isn't as sensitive to child abuse as he was claiming to be when he was having a meltdown and sending child services after magny for light trash talk. The only leg Ian had to stand on with that whole weird stunt he pulled, is he was coming from a point of "taking a stand" against child abuse. Granted the throw-away comment (I think it was “I’ll whoop Garry like I whoop my son” - Magny made opened him up to people assuming the worst for publicity and petty attacks so, Ian Garry turned it into a whole campaign which ended up hurting Magny in his custody battle.
Literally all Ian had to do was say “ya maybe I went a little far with the Magny stuff.”

One thing that doesn't add up... Why would he release a "hype video" on his Instagram saying he's about to silence all the haters two days before the fight? In this interview he said he had not gotten out of bed for the entire day prior to that video being released. Even a "glass half full" person would surely realise their fight is in jeopardy and not release the video?

He said it was the flu, which developed into pneumonia. Pneumonia doesn't come by itself, its an infection which comes about as the result of viruses such as the flu. I don't like him either, but there's no way he bailed deliberately. He's a world class professional fighter and very confident
