While you were looking around to see if a house would fit in various areas, it occurred to me that you could probably pick a bunch of weeds and then plant them in the area where you wanted a house - that would tell you if there were enough squares, and you could eyeball it to see if it looked too close to rocks or the grass ledge.

@@danascrossing I would normally dig holes, but when you first get to the island, you don't have tools so that doesn't work.

Every one you listed is an awesome suggestion for the island! 🥰 I just found Bam on my last hunt and brought him to the island. He is going to be Flynn Rider. Chevre is also on the island to be Snow White. ❤️ I'm so excited to have both.
I have some villager suggestions for the island: Fauna, that could represent Bambi along with Bam, Tad, that could make reference to Princess and the Frog, maybe an octopus to make reference to Ursula? Portia that makes reference the 101 dalmatians, and Molly that looks a lot like one of the cute animals of Disney :)
Just saw on the second part you don't want Fauna, but all the others may work :)

I'm sure her and Klaus are off in love somewhere together. Klaurora Forever for sure! Since I did have her on my winter island before, I'm not sure if I will decide to bring in new villagers for this island that I never had before or not. But I'm excited to put this island together. You could get Aurora as Sleeping Beauty and Colton as a Prince for either Aurora, Snow White or Ariel.

Hi I just found your channel and subscribed. I like your vibe. I just started a new island and it's gonna be a kid core theme. My first island I ever completed was a kid core themed one and it was my far the most enjoyable experience and I wanted to do another one so here I am. I like your theme and am very excited to see how is all comes together. Maybe Tia to represent Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast. I would really like to see a Winnie the Pooh themed if you see fit. The 100 acre wood could be in the winter.

I love the ideas, Dana! Distory is a very fitting name! This island is going to be so much fun to see you build! So I know you're going to have Bam on your island, and he's a deer, but I was also thinking Fauna would be a cute choice, too. You often see Disney Princesses with a deer of some sort. At least in the classics from what I've seen, or she could be the female deer in Bambi that Bambi falls in love with at the end.

You always see the princesses talking to the forest animals. And she could also be a cute Feline (from Bambi). I truly do love Fauna. I've had her on a couple of my islands before, so I will have to decide if I want to bring in villagers I've never had before for this island or not, but she certainly would fit with the theme. I just finished a winter island as part of my Countdown to Toy Day series. I started a new, forever island yesterday. No time travel for a year. We'll see from there. I'm loving it so far.
This sounds like a fun theme! My first thought for a villager was Colton. He's pretty much Prince Charming. My Hard Mode island (Nevershore) was patterned after Into the Woods, which combines a bunch of fairy tales. Big, old castle and everything. Colton was there for a while and fit in perfectly!

Hi Dana, I’m so excited for your new island of Distory, it’s going to be fantastic , just by how your other islands turned out. I think Dora, stitches or Wendy may be good villagers? Dora is very sweet and they have Disney names.. maybe? I’m redoing an island at the moment but have to tear it down as I can’t bring myself to lose all the items and HHP progress. I bought ACNH in 2020, built my island Paradiese, got pregnant in 2022, haven't played since 😂 working on trying to do damn custom paths. They are awful! 😂 any tips??
Aww congrats on your little one, and thanks so much for watching the video. 🥰 As far as tips for making custom paths, I would just say to play around. I personally am not the best with making custom paths, but I would recommend checking out @AprilHoney (an amazing Animal Crossing content creator). She has done some videos on custom path tutorials that might be helpful for you. 💕
